Ozzy was actually my first concert...July 1982 at the Oakland Coliseum....just three months after Rhoads' death. Overall, Maiden is still my favorite metal band and still see them every chance I get! I bought my first Metallica album in Berkeley...still have it..."Kill 'em All" Megaforce record label. Good times!

K so who actually played bass/drums on this album? wikipedia says bob daisley and lee Kerslake.... but the inner sleeve to my record says rudy sarzo and tommy aldridge. wikipedia doesnt even mention those 2 anywhere on the members page
@goblinob it was a big law suit thing with ozzy. ozzy fired bob daisley and lee kerslake after the album was recorded and done (or they quit im not sure). so due to the law suit ozzy had to replace the bass and drum tracks with two different people. this is where rudy sarzo and tommy aldridge comes in. (thats what basically happened

Ozzie's music had much more depth and color when he was with Randy and you're right....how great would he have become, considering he died so young? K so who actually played bass/drums on this album? wikipedia says bob daisley and lee Kerslake.... but the inner sleeve to my record says rudy sarzo and tommy aldridge. wikipedia doesnt even mention those 2 anywhere on the members page

@goblinob it was a big law suit thing with ozzy. ozzy fired bob daisley and lee kerslake after the album was recorded and done (or they quit im not sure). so due to the law suit ozzy had to replace the bass and drum tracks with two different people. this is where rudy sarzo and tommy aldridge comes in. (thats what basically happened

@murraysdaddy Wrong the strings were done by Randy Rhoads. He played with 2 guitars one with Cat gut strings and the other with steal strings. I`ve been studying Rhoads for almost 30 years since his death and all guitars were played by Randy.

Ozzie's music had much more depth and color when he was with Randy and you're right....how great would he have become, considering he died so young? Long live Randy Rhodes and I'm blessed that I saw him during the Blizzard Tour!

@Testdrive98 I can answer that! Remember that the whole deal why Black Sabbath became fathers of metal was because they wanted to wrtie SCARY music. And all these anti-christ thingys WAS scaring people to death. So no wonder why when Ozzy went Solo, he kept on showing his Image that way and become the prince of darkness. It wasnt until 1991 that he released No More Tears when he wanted a more "mature" artwork on his record.
