I've done this for liek an hour WITH soothe bell,CRAMMED POFFINS IN IT,WON 4 CONTESTS,WALKED THROUGH MOST OF SINNOH AND THE RIOLU I GOT FROM WI-FI HAS NO HEARTS!

Levelling up makes it happy. So do stuff like Carbos and any stat uppers. That's like Catnip to them. Anyway, I hate Happiness Evolutions. Luckily there are those few things to help. Without having to use that trick.

hey i just though of this in theory if i were to use berries form emerald ( which deduct evs ) and vitamins them i would get it done fast too? like add 10 evs then take 10 + the berries add happiness! feel free to try this out..........

There are two soothe bells in pokemon platinum.

The first soothe bell is in Eterna Forest. Right before you leave the place, the trainer who is accompanying you will give you the bell before leaving.

The second bell can be found in the second room from the left in the Pokemon Mansion. Talk to the maid in the room and she'll give you the bell.
