I must have watched this at least 10 times these few days and the more I watch, the more I appreciate the subtlty. In the library, the female Fujii asks, "Is there someone else that you like?" (if you understand japanese) and the male fujii replies, "No!" She thought it means he didn't like anyone, he meant (since she was the one asking) that he didn't like anyone else (apart from her). How subtle! So many levels! I really respect this film! :))
