ohnoes, cinnamon is a aphrodisiac flavor enhancer which carries nearly no flavor it self. ancient cooking trick is that cinnamon is 1 of the few flavor enhancers which you can add to any food.

usually "oil/broil phase" in cooking dust pan/item, and let it simmer 5 additional mins so its cooked into the food. when done whatever your making will tast 15% better, and if you add too much 15% worse.

Woah, just been having one of those days where nothing will go right, and watching one of these videos suddenly cheered me up.

To answer the question, there's a short story to that one. Back when I was a lot younger, my sister and I used to mix up various foods (such as ketchup mixed with white sauce, and ketchup) and dare the other one to eat it. Since I've always grown up able to do anything (cause... or effect? :-o), I'd pretty much always eat/drink it. So it was probably one of those.

Wierdest thing I ever ate was a flower on a dare. We were sitting in a pub in Switzerland and were very bored. My friends said they would pay me 5 Swiss Francs if I ate one of the flowers in the vase on the table. I picked a pretty white one, put a little Aromat on it, ate it and quickly ordered a beer that was paid for by the 5 francs I got for eating the flower.

I think Onion bagle, it was some odd but bad tasting bagle, but what makes it worse was that there was just a really horrible and boring cartoon on tv. And I guess since I was bored I watched it cuz there was nothing else on. So it brings up not just bad taste memories but also headaches oddly.

Once I hate rice with little pieces of leafs and grains that was falling from a pine tree right inside my pan =) I was at a scouts camping and the solution was that rice or no food at al, so... I love peaches, strawberrys... I absolutely hate fresh tomatoes! If cooked I like, otherwhise there's no way! I believe it's related to a bad childhood experience, where a teacher force me to eat it ;p

The weirdest thing i've ever had to eat was a pig foetus. Cant say I was too keen on the idea, but it was either eat the foetus or offend the tribe of animist lao that had slaughtered one of their few pigs in honour of my arrival. When I was a kid I ate to much "Space Dust" and woke up in the middle of the night throwing up all over the place. To this day I get a little ill just thinking about that stuff. BTW: Space Dust is a type of candy that pops when you put it in your mouth. Try googling space dust if you are not familiar with the candy.

I think I might have tried lamb once, there's something about the texture and flavor I'm not too fond of.

One of the most unusual (and unpleasant) things I can think I've eaten is squid at a sushi restaurant. It doesn't taste anywhere near as good as octopus. The way I remember, is that eating squid like eating a tablespoon of mayonnaise in meat-form, mixed in with a hint of crab flavor.
