You're the first person that I've ever voted for in any edtion of the X-Factor and it's not that I believe that you're the best singer in the competition, it's more to do with the fact that I've read between your lines since the start and I know that all you're trying to do is get a break in the fickle music industry. Her strategy this time is a TV talent show because that's one of the only remaining ways to raise your profile in this industry. Anyone who is - or has been a creative artist will understand exactly why she's had to do what she's done. Having albums simply doesn't equate to having money, in most cases it means losing the money you've invested to produce the albums.

Susan Boyle had also recorded a single, some years before, a limited charity release. Mary Byrne, who's also got through to the Judges' Houses, won a tv talent show in Eire and she's on here with a Xmas song she recorded with a small church choir - both sound great!

There's uproar about katie because it's totally different, she HAS a current record deal and is signed onto a label under a completely different name. @Leely Everyone is moaning because Katie has been in the bottom 2, three times now. When the opportunity came for cheryl to pick the better voice and quite clearly the one that the public prefer, she refused to pick, then in a x-factor first the judges were split and the show did not go to dead-lock. There is alot of speculation that the show is fixed and people have every right to get upset about it especially when there votes aka money is potentially being tampered with. Really disturbing!
