@1233889 Believe it or not, a computer's memory DOES affect how much you can have on a game. Due to it's size, a PC has much more memory than an iPhone.

Well, we ALL know that spore is better on the PC. you dont even have to say it. But this is a nice alternative when your like bored in the car on a looong trip. I its not that bad, is it? I dont see myself favoring a book over this on a trip any time soon xD

Transfer the code? More like write it from scratch. Spore for Mac's cell stage is a lot different than this, and Cocoa and Cocoa Touch are two way different platforms. This would've been a huge project for two weeks of work, and I'm surprised they created a game as polished as what they demoed.

what i think sucks is that the spore they showed in the demonstration and the retail version are so different. the demonstration version even as an extra stage were youre a sea creature NOT a cell. and also you can drag bodies if youre a carnivore so you can eat in peace in the demonstation version. dont know why they took it all out.

I'm sad to say that I agree. Now, it isn't all about killing, but somewhat like it, the creature and the cell stage are the most fun, cell is demonstrated here, creature you walk around make friends or eat foes, then from there upward you kill or make friends, all the way to the space stage where you're constantly babysitting the colonies... :(

It's really annoying.

I could stand a pirate raid every half an hour, perhaps a ecological disaster now and then, but when you have 25 colonies and 3 allies with a few colonies, you get bombarded with 6 ecological disasters, 2 grox attacks, 9 pirate raids and whatnot at the same time.
