  • Hey Riotmaker86, Thanks for getting back to me. I learned how to build a 12v power supply here on youtube by using a computer power supply, it works great. I used the power supply to bench test my Avic-F700bt.

  • Nice Video, but what people really need is a video that shows what gear you are using to bench power the receiver and a general description as to how to hook it up. A lot of us have stereo's like this that we'd like to test before installing. Any help would be appreciated.

  • @brettkramer I can't speak for this particular unit, but a lot of Single-DIN head units will simply run off a 12-volt power supply. Simply cut the end off of a power adapter and hook the positive to the positive feed coming off the head unit and the ground from the head unit to the negative on the adapter. The head unit will usually have 2 cables that need to be hooked up, usually yellow and red. Yellow is battery, Red is ignition power. Both need to go to the positive on the power adapter. GL!

  • Yeah i just got me a G4 too, best purchase i made ever! i'd like to know how u powered it, would also like to test it and install software before i mount it in the car, can u please help?

  • hey could you let me know how you had that hooked up to the power supply. I got a 32 amp power supply and I want to test a car radio out.

  • Hey I was wondering how the infill g4 is working for you so far...would you recommend buying it to anyone else or would building a custom carputer be a better way to go. My biggest concern is the speed more specifically the ram and graphics speed... what would you change about the infill g4
