  • ehhhhhhhhhhh not the best signing.

  • This is really good.

But I thought when you point to someone that means "you"

And "your" was holding your palm towards the person?

  • @emileerzz This is true.

  • This was amazing. I love you energy and most of the signs were simple enough that even me, and starting ASL I student could understand! Nice Job!!!

  • @aflockofmusic2 it is not pointless. there is so much more to music than just the sounds. that would be like saying putting subtitles on movies for the hearing impaired was pointless. people who are deaf go based on visuals because unless they were previously a hearing person, they don't really have a point of reference. but saying that signing songs is pointless is a slap in the face to the deaf community...but just my opinion. no i am not deaf but i am learning to be an interpreter.

  • @all4christ1985 well, its not really pointless, but hes got a point, if its not music then its not music u no? You can sign it, and they will no wat the lyrics are, but they wont no the beat, the sound, how they say the words, theres a lot that goes into music that u cant really sign to someone. its like taking a song that someone has never heard before, and monotoning it, they will no the lyrics, but not everything else

  • @aflockofmusic2 the beat is the heart of the music and even the deaf can feel the beat so the song is alive even to deaf. then when that is matched with how visually stunning sign language can be you create something a little stronger than just music. A deaf person can leave a song with deeper understanding of the song than you did simply because someone made it visible. besides signing a song gives a person a chance to paint the picture a different way (there are deaf song signers)

  • @aflockofmusic2 your saying that just because someone is not able to hear they shouldn't be given the gift of music? Why? If you can't answer that then your comment is pointless

  • @aflockofmusic2 are you deaf nope dont think so...well dont you think that some deaf people would wish to be able to hear they cant people either have to sign it to them or they feel the vibrations of the beat thats the only the way.. you wouldnt really uderstand well im not deaf but im learning to sign its actually quite enjoyable

  • thank you for sharing : ) I have learned to sign this song , thanks to you : ) it is now checked off in my bucket lists : ) learn to sign a song ! Thanks again.. I liked signing so much I did another song.. LOVE asl by nat king cole : )

signing is a fascinating language to learn..

  • Had to watch it twice. I see ASL you are getting it. Good job!

Reading previous commit, what is the meaning of "glossing"?

    Anyone commit please!

  • @audioalt "Glossing" is basically saying what she is sign by sign, written. Example; English: "I live in a house" Glossing: "I" + "live" + "in" + "house."

  • @emileerzz Thanks for definition on "glossing" I understand

  • @emileerzz And it's always in all caps :)

  • i love this song and that was a great interpretation. im trying to learn ASL and this was fun to watch :))

  • great job! I loved how you didn't just sign the words, but what they actually meant, making it easier to understand. =) you were awesome!

  • We had Called this wounderful friend of mine the "sunshine" interpreter because she made our whole class light up everyday with her smile...She and the meny other students from SWIC are excelling beyond thier dreams. Thank you for enjoying our classes learning experience.

thank you so much for piosting thiss, i think ive watched it about 34892304 times in the past hour lol

you did a really good job!

  • whats glossing?

  • @lilbeachgrl123 a gloss is a brief notation of the meaning of a word or wording in a text, or in the reader's language if that is different

  • that's cool

    great

  • :D .

  • I LOVE IT !!! AMAZING VIDEO

  • Great Job. You are amazing! I love the emotions that you did.

  • Wonderful emotion as well as expression. You are one of the most talented, young interpreters I have seen.

I predict you will go really far!!!

    Great Work!!!!!

  • wow. good job but to be honest, i really don't like it. i think it can be more interactive and fun.

I think of it to be plain.

Good though! not to be mean or n e thing! that is not the goal!

  • I thought she did a good job also, making it more ASL was fantastic! I would really love for someone else to try this! I mean yeah there's probably some ways to make it more interactive and fun, but I only know of a handful of people that could do that..and they haven't. so nice job!

  • Fun song! Good signing! Love it!

    -B.A.
