Thanks for posting this...I luv the Neville Bros and The Meters' music...Saw the Meters for the first time opening for the Stones in Baton Rouge 1975 double show...
@sidomitch I thank you to let me find again a little important piece of my life... now i listen that song every day..it reminds me where I come from..and where I have to go..
Neville discography has this as 1990. You sure about '91? My channel of 625 playlists has one for every year since 1900. Someone else said this was 2003, must have been a compilation. I hate when reissues are inaccurate on original release years. I understand each re-release extends the copyright. Thanks for posting this! chuck
@sidomitch Thanks, kindly! Not trying to be too picky, but I'm trying to be accurate as I can on my 112 year playlists. A song could be recorded late one year, released 6 mos later on an album, then THAT single released later & topping the charts the NEXT year, then released on a compilation God knows when... it is sometimes a big challenge. Then there's the several year old song nobody heard of until there was a blockbuster cover of it several years later.
@chkjns I "hear" you ! I think I know what you mean by 112 year playlist. I measure mine only in "weeks", at least what is in the computer. Vinyl and CD collection is too hard to calculate. There's a TON of stuff I won't post, due to "third party content" and copyrights, and I don't need my channel suspended ! I think YT. is a great way to share music ( my hobby ) and some of the artists should welcome new exposure to younger listeners, not worry about losing royalties !
It's always a sign of greatness when a singer or group handles a classic really well--this is greatness.

@chkjns You are right, sir. I double checked, and this was from a compilation in 1990, NOT 1991 ! ( I will correct the info. in the description )

@chkjns The cd Red hot and blue was a compilation of various artists in ode to Cole Porter's songs. 1991 for sure.
