  • @aszosh I guess she's just a natural doctor. ha ha

  • @geof did she tell you what she wanna be when she grows up?

  • @aszosh It changes all the time. Now, she says she wants to be a teacher.

  • oh my GOD!! i laughed very loud till tears came out from my eyes and i got stomachache.. LOL..

    i love her..

thanks sir for uploading her video.. u have a very beautiful family.

  • I seriously hope in the future I can raise my children to be as clever and insightful as Nina. You guys are genuinely amazing parents, I hope to be like you guys! :)

  • (after cutting papa) "another frog has been saved" instead of saving papa's life

    hahahahahaah :D

    nina's such an angel :*

  • @omaiomaiomai Doctor's rule number 36: Make sure all frogs are safe before resuming treatment of the patient. ; )

  • We just found your channel. And instantly fall in love with your Nina. She is sooo adorable. Very smart and funny. I hope our Nina (yes, we have a little angel names Nina too) will be as smart and funny as yours. Mine will turn 3 this November. And she loves your videos too. :))

  • @nitamamora23 Thanks for the message! And, I always like to hear about other kids named Nina. Three is a fun age. I hope you are taking lots of pictures and videos of your Nina. It's amazing how quickly we forget as our children get older.

  • Momma is pretty!

  • You look like a cool vampire sitting there with that sweater. Nina is amazing, as always :)

  • @turquoisesurprise A vampire?! Well, I do get pretty pale in the winter months.

  • @geofg A :"cool" vampire :) I think it is the turtle neck on that sweater, and it is black lol

  • Plucking out someone nails is quite a scary procedure.....

  • @sakura93e ha ha Yes, you need to have a professional doctor.

  • awhhhhh!!!:)i love this Dr. Nina!:)hahaha!:)i used to this myself and now I'm a nurse...didn't proceed to medicine anymore.:) she's so smart and funny.:) It's so nice that you find time to play with her...quality time together.:) Her bday is august 10th papa geoff?mine is august 8th.:)

  • @caramelnyx888 How do you like being a nurse? That is one of the jobs I wondered if Nina might consider some day.

  • @geofg Hi!:)i love it!:)I've been a nurse since 2005, i worked for four years in my home country (Philippines) and did volunteer work as well, then I moved to Canada back in 2009 :) I have to admit the best years I've worked was when I was with the kids in Pediatrics ward and the babies at the Nursery and the NICU.:) Nina would be a great doctor or maybe a nurse someday...she's already awesome the way she is.:)

  • "Don't worry I'm okay too!" lol she's got comedic skills even if she doesn't know it yet.

  • haha...So great and sporting of you guys to play along....She has a brilliant mind and that says a lot about u guys as parents.... ;)

  • @andenkm Thanks! I don't really feel like we have "taught" Nina anything. We just try to take the time to play with her and listen to her, and she comes up with all this crazy stuff. ha ha

  • OMG i laugh like crazy... i really love to watch nina and how her parents have time to play with her.... nina is adorable and smart too...

  • in a lot videos of nina, i really love this video

  • when is her birthday?

  • @TheMandyPhan August 10th.

"Don't worry. I'm okay too." haha

  • OMG.. I was laughing like crazy.. You guys are actors family !!!!!!! Two thumbs up.. I love all your VDOs ! Thanks for making my day!

  • hi, seriously I wonder how Nina know(all acts, thermometer, paging etc) so much, HOW? did you show her a video tutorial?

  • @sakitperut123 I guess she just learned it from playing doctor with us. Sometimes she is the doctor, sometimes Mama or Papa is the doctor.

And... I'd like to congratulate the parents for being supportive on whatever she's doing... You're lucky to have each other... :~)

  • @cowardlycrow Frogs in your head?! Oh, no! This sounds like a job for Dr. Nina! She's a specialist!

  • @geofg But to fly all the way from Australia to Japan,it'd cost me a lot... I hope Dr Nina won't charge me more than what I have...

  • Comment removed

  • Should bring Nina on a visit to Malaysia!

  • @rahmanhashim I'd love to visit Malaysia if we get a chance some day.

  • I don't know if I'm missing some information, but why is it that it's always a frog in the body? haha.

Is it part of a saying? a song? or does Nina just like frogs?

    :D

  • @NikiChan23 No, I don't know either. ha ha Recently, though, she doesn't talk about stomach frogs as much. Maybe the epidemic is over.

  • Hahaha I was rolling on the floor laughing watching this!! I even teared up, too! She's a very dedicating doctor, I must say. I hope she grows to be a doctor one day (preferably not surgery haha!).

  • @HuRiL69 ha ha Yeah, she is very serious about her job as doctor, but she needs to work on her surgery techniques a bit.

  • i'm in l0ve wit nina~ cute yet brilliant~ l00kin 4ward 2 watch all 0f her vids~ :D

  • Don't worry, I'm OK too!

OMG Nina I think u can even cure cancer! hahaha

  • *Trips!* xD Such a klutzy doctor! I love it, keep the vids coming! :)

  • OMG... Nina is so cute! this is the funniest video so far..

im officially addicted to Nina.. ;)

  • @appledeadmushroom I think Nina hit her comedic peak during this period in her life.

  • Oh wow she's super cute! Such a joy to be with~ Very professional doctor, and part time manicurist too! *laughs*

  • @deedeedare ha ha Yeah, somehow the manicure is included with the medical checkup.

  • lol she has good communication skills!

  • hahhahah that is funny a frog love nina

  • when nina fell, that was so unexpected..i laughed so hard, i even teared up...she's so cute and such a professional too("don't worry, i'm okay too").

  • Ha ha. Yeah, she was so focused on her work, she didn't have time to worry about the fall.

  • it´s good too see parents taht have time to play and share whit their kids.

thanks you so much for the time you spend making the subtitles. that helps a lot.

  • Thanks, and you're welcome! Are you learning Japanese?

  • yes, i´m from vzla. i like so much some jpop music. i´m using some of them to learn, but sometimes the lyrics are not accurate, i learnt english basicly translating songs.

but now i my favorite music is japanese.

  • I'm checking your videos weakly

little Nina is lovable ,ha ha

    Thank you for uploading geofg.

  • Thanks for commenting!

  • you have an amazing, bright little girl. she's so adorable.

i hope she'll go to a medschool when she grows up.

  • 1:29 sorry nina, but i laughed hard at this haha.

  • I have to tell you again, you've got an amazing kid!! She's got that great imagination, a world on her own mind, she's really clever. It shows you're both doing a great job with her, apart from her own character.

And her taking it so seriously, with her frogs and coughs and everything, dividing instruments in painful and not painful, incredible!! She's my favourite person on earth right now, hahahaha!!

    Un saludo!!

  • Yeah, stomach frogs are a very serious matter for Nina. Ha ha.

    Thanks for another great comment!

  • @geofg lol and brain frogs!!! You didn't get well quickly Geog, so you need painful procedures!! tsk tsk tsk tsk

U know, i am a medical student and also have to learn how to approach patient and calm them down, but i think Nina did better than all of us! haha...

She's very caring, i hope she can be a doctor one day..

    This is so entertaining..

And how u made the video is completely great!

  • Ha ha! That's a compliment, coming from a med student! I'm glad you approve of Nina's patient centered approach.

Thanks for the comment, and good luck with med school! I hear it is pretty tough!

  • waaww finnally you buy her a doctor set...LOL

  • Ha ha. Yeah, we should have bought her a doctor set sooner!

  • I bet she might become a doctor when she grows up

  • Lol, I'm glad she was okay when she fell. ^__^

  • Ha ha. She was too busy worrying about her patients to worry about the fall.

  • wow..I really enjoy watching your films. Nina is ctue!! :) Thanks for uploading it with subtitles! It's so useful for me because I am learning elementary Japanese. This clip also recalls my memeory at school in this morning. We had lots of fun in Japanese oral presentation and did role plays like 'doctors and patients' games. We did conversations like '頭が痛くて、熱もあります。'でも、今大丈夫です~

    パパママ、お大事に。XD

  • Thanks for commenting. I'm glad watching Nina can help you with your nihongo. I learn nihongo from her, too. 頭はもう痛くないですか。You may have a かえる in your head.(笑)

  • ええ、もう大丈夫ですから、心配しないでください。BUT if that's ture,so dr. nina have to take it out from my head! xD

I just fall in love with all your clips and spent much time on them. Thanks for replying me パパ .It will be great if I can keep contact with your family :)

  • XD yeah you gotta watch out for those darn frogs! XD

  • that was soooo funny...she is adorable...

  • oh wow.. that is the CUTEST thing.. her japanese is better than mine, LOL.. demo shouganai ne, mada Japanese 102 da mon ne.. (if that makes sense) :D

  • hahaha! XD this is sooo funny~! lol

she talks a lot and really fast too~

  • Doctor or entertainer, whichever she chooses she will succeed for sure XD

  • Maybe she'll surprise everyone and decide to be a rice farmer or something. Ha ha.

  • 超カワイイ!!!

  • ありがとう!

  • Oh my gosh. She's so intelligent and cuteee.

If I ever have a kid, I want one like that. :3

  • Ha ha, thanks! If you have a kid some day, just make time to play with them, and don't give them too much sugar or let them watch too much TV and I'm sure they'll come out like Nina!

  • This is so cute....quite possibly the cutest thing I've ever seen...I hope my daughter is half as adorable as yours!

  • Thank you! Do you have a daughter now? How old is she?

  • I have a daughter, she will be one in two weeks...shes a spunky little thing, and is starting to walk and get into everything! Where in Japan do you live? We are in west Tokyo...

  • I saw your site and your lovely daughter. Congratulations! Yeah, once they start walking (once they start crawling really) everything changes. I think it's a big psychological advance to realize that you can control where you want to go. I hope you've got the camera rolling all the time. Walking, talking... it all goes by so quickly at first.

  • Oh, and we live in Aichi.

  • She's so sweet~ looks like the type of person who desires only the best for all. Not only is she saving papa, she's saving the frogs too. ニーナは、すっごくかわいい。 ビデオをうpしてありがとう~

  • Ha ha, thanks. Yes, Nina was as concerned about the frogs as she was about Papa. All the frogs are fine, by the way.

  • she is sooooo smart!!!

  • I hope Nina can get another doctor to help her; the poor girl's overworked. I hope next time Papa-san gets something more easily remedied so Nina doesn't have to go for the painful procedures.

  • Ha ha. You're right, she needs some help. How many kaeruectomies can one doctor be expected to perform. I just noticed that there is an add attached to the bottom of her video for treating hemorrhoids. Maybe this partner thing wasn't a great idea after all.

  • "I just noticed that there is an add attached to the bottom of her video for treating hemorrhoids. Maybe this partner thing wasn't a great idea after all."

Well, that depends on how many patients it brings in for Dr. Nina's practice.

  • I wonder if "hemorrhoids" might not really just be clusters of small frogs gathered in the anus.

  • Medically speaking, hemorrhoids aren't frog clusters but rather piles.

  • i like that the nurse paged her lol

  • "i hope so" made me laugh

  • I am glad to see Japans future doctors are so smart, maybe she will be the first doctor to find a cure for that frog disease...LOL. That looks like bad stuff I hope I never catch frogitis or whatever it is called.Nina is so smart for her age.

  • Ha ha. Yeah, the frog thing has been a recurrent theme with Nina, though I seem to be the only one who gets them. Mama never gets frogs.

  • My favorite part is 1:08 after she knocks out papa and drops the scalpel in shock....Classic. Another great video Nina is becoming more and more adorable every video.

  • Thank you! Yeah, I'm not sure Nina will ever become a doctor, but I do think she could be a comedian.

  • very smart kid...mae yori (dr nina) nina wa motto sabetta..

  • Arigatou! Oshaberi desu yo!

  • NINA-CHAMA WA KAWAII DESU!

  • She is so smart! You are way tooo adorable, Nina! You and your wife are doing a wonderful job, Geoff! Keira enjoyed watching with me. Now, she's copying Nina, hahaha!

  • Ha ha. Thanks! I hope Nina is a good role model for Keira.

  • nina..my favorite doctor

this girl is so nica, she have a beautiful face!

  • Thank you!

  • LOL, how does one get frogs inside of them?

  • Good question. I'd like to prevent more frogs from getting inside of me so I don't have to go under the knife anymore.

  • My goodness, what an outbreak of stomach frogs Japan in having! She is such a delight Geof, with so much imagination-- so much detail, such commitment to her role, and a big vocabulary, too! And I think you should be up for a best supporting actor Oscar as "The Patient".

  • No, I know I am a ham actor. Akiko is much more natural.

I can't wait to find an opportunity to immerse Nina in English so her English speaking will become more fluent. As it is, her intelligence (or her eloquence anyway) only really comes through when she's speaking Japanese.

  • i love ninachan!!!!!

  • I really enjoy her "Don't worry, I'm OK, too". By the way, what's the meaning of 「ちょっと」in this context? I found many of them but it's not very clear. I laughed when Nina wondered if the medicine was bad, how cute can she be!!

    Big hugs from Mexico!!^^

  • That ちょっと doesn't really have much meaning. Maybe she was about to say ちょっとまて or something but then wanted to assure me she was OK first.

  • From the Mt. Fuji video to this one I found a HUGE difference in Nina's way of speaking. Her vocabulary is amazing, she's talking like a big girl and I love to watch how serious she can be while Doctor Nina is in practice. I couldn't help but have a big smile when she fell down, she was SO concentrated as a doctor that she didn't even care.

  • When she speaks Japanese while playing, Nina is quite verbose, but she is still much less articulate in English.

And, yes, being a doctor is very serious business for her. No time to worry about falling. Ha ha.

  • Nina is tooooooooooooo adorable :)))))) *especially when she tripped

  • Yeah, that was funny somehow.

  • *clap clap clap* Oh how I love the action of the OR. Nina-chan is such a good physician, although... she does seem to like slicing up her papa more than her mama. But those frogs needed saving!!! ^O^ Curious how she was able to save the frogs and her patient! Excellent Job Nina-chan!!! ♥

P.S. She had me in tears when she believed she had knocked you out geofg, "daijoubu?!" O_O !?! Priceless. <3

  • I cut some of the footage to keep the vid shorter, but at one point Nina had placed the three frogs she took from Papa on the floor and was trying to keep them together as they hopped about. She told them, "Koko de matete ne!"

  • Never thought of getting a second child? I would love to see Nina the second haha :)

  • Unfortunately, we can't have more children, but Nina keeps us more than busy enough.

  • Good thing Dr. Nina wasn't holding a scalpel when she tripped!! =o

  • Yes, "no running with a scalpel" is one of our house rules.

  • Haha wow...with every video I become more and more attached to Nina...she is so smart...

Random question I've always been wondering about bilingual families...

    This is kind of off topic, but when you and your wife converse solely to each other, is there a primary language that you prefer? I'd assume that around Nina you each speak in a different language, but what about just to each other? Sorry if that's too personal or too weird of a question. ^_^;

    ~Brittany

  • Thanks!

Before Nina was born I tried to use Japanese a lot when speaking to my wife to get practice, but since Nina was born I got in the habit of trying to use English as much as possible. So now, even when it's just my wife and I, she speaks Japanese and I speak English. That's most natural for both of us anyway. Of course, we mix English and Japanese together a lot, too.

  • She is a very reassuring doctor. Good job Nina! So amusing! You make a fun patient, Geoff!

  • Yes, even when being cut open and having frogs removed, I am reassured by Nina's confident nature.

    Thanks for watching!

  • Hahaha! WOW! This is even better than watching anime!! xD

The way she acts, speak and all! SUPERB!!!

  • Ha ha ha! That's the first time I've heard someone say this is "better than anime"!

    Thanks!

  • Nina-Sensei, jouzu desu ne! I always love watching these videos.. i would not be surprised if she becomes a doctor when she is older as she definitely has a knack for it. Hope you and your family is doing well!

    Stay genki Nina-chan!

    ステイーブ先生 守谷市茨城県

  • Thanks, ステーブ先生!Yeah, taking care of people is definitely part of Nina's nature.

  • Dr. Nina is cute and SO smart, too cute to be true!!! lol Thanks for sharing.

  • She's too cute.

  • Her vocabulary is getting so impressive!

I was having a bit of a bad day and saw this up here and it made me smile. As always, thank you for sharing!

  • I'm glad Nina could give you a smile on your bad day. I hope today is a better day for you.

  • Hahaha Dr. Nina~ I love how as soon as your head hurts she goes in all Hm...OK *slice* ^_^ So funny and cute!!

Glad to see everyone is well!!

  • Thanks! Yes, thanks to Nina we are all doing well now. She is pretty quick with the knife, but you can't argue with results.

  • How cuuuuuuute!!

I loved her explanation at the end. Sorry you had to have the painful-frog procedures! I was giggling thoughout this whole vid. Her vocab is so great!

    Thanks for sharing! :)

  • Ha ha. Yeah, I didn't know why she spared Mama all the painful stuff, but after her explanation, I couldn't argue.

  • SUGOII kawaii Geof!!

I laughed a lot at this video as well. Nina will make a great doctor one day.

  • Thanks, Jeff. You'll be amazed at the kind of stuff that Mokka comes up with when she starts talking. I almost envy you having it yet to come. It seems like Nina is growing up so fast...

  • 名医がすぐ傍にいると安心ですね^^

    僕も頭が痛いのは、カエルさんがいるのでしょうか?

  • カエルさんかもしらないですね。名医のニーナに聞いてみます。

  • cute
