@Livin4Christ360 well so far mac because even if there is something on a pc you want on a mac u can get a program virtual pc that lets u run a microsoft operating system on ur mac also alot of problems with pc are due to hardware and software conflict but a mac makes both and a pc will have eg. dell make the hardware and microsoft make the software

but it all comes down to u if u r not computer strong and u kno how to run a pc stick with a pc I hope this helps :)

@LF350 You can also run Mac osx Lion on a PC quite easily. (just google hackintosh) And Apple doesn't make any of there own hardware, it exctually uses the same hardware as any PC would but they do sell it for more money. Niether do they make (most of the) software. Only thing better about a mac is the fact that it's a Unix based operating system wich is (a bit) more stable then MS windows.

Basically what you have to remember is Macs have ONE sound and graphics card and only have ONE version of programmes, so if you want the new stuff, you have to fork out more money, whereas PCs have more sound and graphics cards that are more powerful, their programmes only need updates, they run games. Overall, Macs are better for the business side of life and managing media, whilst PCs are better for price, games and having all versions of all programmes, which is why they are slow.

I prefer to use the shitty dell computers next door because I don't make them lock up using photoshop or sony vega. My PC at home on the other hand, I spent a little over 700 dollars on and it runs about 75-90% better than ANY Mac I have come acrossed, including the "best" one apple sells. Mac fails. 2. Xbox 360s are cheaper. For people who just want to play games, why spend hundreds on a bluray if you don't want one.

3. Xbox 360s had more critically acclaimed games than the PS3. Just google, or add up some game review site stats. Not sure about now, but I still feel that even with games released at least 2 years ago we have more, and more great ones.

4. Microsoft is more powerful than Sony. They have more cash to put into games/DLC rights and technology.

The hardware one is kind of stupid... at this stage (actually, for years now) XP pretty much supports (and has supported) any external device you can buy, and if it doesn't by default, you're pretty much guaranteed that the manufacturer includes drivers for it with the product. But whatever, I've had problems with several Windows OS's and several Mac OS's, so I don't prefer one over the other.

I hate Vista, I use XP. My PC is not a bunch of garbage you buy directly from Dell, but it's custom-built and as such works amazingly well.

I prefer PC over Mac because PCs are just cheaper. Life is based around money, and I can't afford Mac, but the PC can do whatever I want. As long as I stay away from Vista and just stick with XP.

But I respect Mac. Garage Band is a great program.
