I totally agree that this is not funny. When I watched the first episode I went into an absolute rage and could have killed anyone involved in the making of the programme. How dare the BBC put out such unoriginal and un-funny rubbish.

I'm afraid thethirdeyeproject that we have been watching the same show. The sketch simply doesn't work. It's unfunny and if you did laugh it shows that you have a very basic and uninteresting sense of humour. I would guess that you probably help out at your local Church Youth Club as it's these sort of people that this sort of tame and unoriginal comedy appeals to.

I guess by what you have said, the people who don't find it funny are the kind of people who make vast assumptions about people as a veiled attempt at an insult where they actually just come off as being even more close minded than they already did.

The humour of The Wrong Door is just too ridiculously safe and uninteresting and I stand by what I said about it being unoriginal. I would advise you to watch Playtime by Jacques Tati so as to understand true genius. Also Funland was very good.

Safe? In what way exactly?

The comedy i.e. whether someone finds this funny or not is like almost everything is subjective and down to the individual.

But like I said, I would love to know what shows are even vaguely similar that would class The Wrong Door as unoriginal. I find that sentiment preposterous.

I do hope Playtime and Funland was not the best you could come up with.
