Humperdinky is the definition of a retard, and I summarize his quote, "I never heard much of him at nationals anyways, oh yeah he was at US nationals by then dumbass.
Yeah, the Christian frat boy thing is stupid, but the beer they're drinking and party scenes in this vid do seem pretty tame. I like this video, though.
It is obvious that Leer is not an 800m runner, although he did end up running 1:49.37 this year, he is a 1500m runner with a PR of 3:40.06. This year at DIII Nats he won both the 1500m and 5km, the first person in DIII to complete that double. In my opinion, those qualities qualify him as a good runner. Also, I fail to see how they party like "Christian frat boys"... does such a comment stem from the fact that they drink lots of beer. Take the trashtalk back to letsrun.
They do party like Christian frat boys... Will Leer is still fast, though. At the USA Championships, he ran 3:40.06 (in the 1500 prelims) to qualify for the finals and got 10th in the finals with (3:44.20). I'm not the only one here that would agree that making the top 10 at any national meet is good.
3:41.98 is a fast 1500! Being a former DIII mid-distance runner, it's nice to see all these guys running fast (national caliber) times...like Andrew Rock, Nick Symmonds, and Will Leer.
Hey humper, I think that 1.50.79 is good, and apparently so does the collegiate US Division III, since hardly anybody in DIII can beat that time. Do yourself a favor and look up times for the DIII indoor national chapionship. You'll find that Will won it the past two years in a row.
haha this is really funny, i was his teammate in hs and i trained with will this past summer and it was cool, hopefully he'll come to minnesota for a little while again this summer...
Hey Will and Pamona boys. I noticed you boys like to party. We've been known to throw back a few in our day as well. Just so happens that we've got Nationals at our place this year. After the races are completed, you guys should hang out. Let us know...
