matty2361 he was puttin fiberglass cloth and resin over it......normally boards are made with epoxy resin which is about $100 a gallon but i just use a poly resin which is like $30-$40 a gallon

@cnlpainter1 I used polyester resin, I think epoxy is used more on the light weight Polystyrene foam blanks (polyester melts it) which a lot of boards are made from now. There are some good books out there with loads of info on making boards I found Surfing fundamentals very good ( it is a little dated) .
