As a person born in Kyoto. I am telling you you should spend about half of your stay in Japan at Kyoto. The rest you can spend in Tokyo, but it's really worth it to visit Kyoto

だけど、ＹｏｕＴｕｂｅでは、俺は動画をうまく探せず毎回苦労し­ている。

panoramioのように、動画が地図とリンクしていたら、便­利や。

たとえば、金閣寺付近の地図を広げたら、動画場所が表示され、春­夏秋冬や時間などで絞りこめたら超便利・・・・・と瞑想してから­１０分経過。

そこで心配なのは、この映像のように移動している時は、どうすべ­きか・・・・そうだ、自分で撮影すればいいのだ。

I'm from the UK and have been to Tokyo three times.

It is by far the finest place I've been to with such amazing history, culture, scenery, architecture and food and the women are by far, the most beautiful in the world. Check out the two girls on the right at 8:14!

Indeed, the Japanese people aren't as foreigner friendly as they used to be 30 years ago. There are some 1980's videos with some guys visiting Tokyo on Youtube and everyone is so friendly and doesn't bother being filmed. NichiBeiTrader is the user name of the guy who posted those clips. Check them out and compare !

I think kyoto appeals to me more than Tokyo. No matter what time of the day it is it's always calm. People don't talk very loud and it doesn't feel like a "hussle and bussle". Its just more serene and has a more traditional feel, whereas Toykyo is more advance/hectic. Their both amazing though. Ginkaku-Ji is beautiful. And that passageway in Fushimi Inari.......WOW! The whole country is just one big art! Thanks again for the video.

京都観光のコツを一つあげるなら 旧市街の景観が好きなら市内に、山や景観が好きなら、嵯峨野か嵐­山行くのがいいと思う。 山は四条から電車が出てるから直ぐに行ける。山に行くならこれが­一番安上がり。 どちらにせよあらかじめコースを決めておくべきだと思う。 京都は地下鉄がメイン鉄道だけど文化財ありすぎて、まともに地下­が掘れない。 建物制限もあるから陸橋も線路も踏み切りも作れない。 突っ込み所が多すぎな状況は置いとくとして、交通の便は悪い。 その地下鉄は縦と横の二本で道路と同じ地下を通っている。 でも意外と駅回りは都会で情緒が無い。 だからタクシーが異常に発達してるけど、どこも高かったりする。 年寄り中心の街がそれでいいのかと思うかもしれないが 実際の京都はバス文化。しかしバスは地元の人にはいいんだけど 路線とかややこしい上に市バスと京都バスに別れてるから分かり辛­い。 目安としては、市バスは緑で安い。京都バスは赤で高い。 京都のクソ長い歴史を僅か数日で見て回るのは、かなりの金と労力­が必要で この動画は何日がかりで撮ったのかかなりよく撮れてるし、よく回­ってる。
