I used to have a guinea pig when I was really young and we used to train it to jump (just put obstacles in its way and play with it by tickling it, it would run away and run back jumping over the obstacles as it did so). One day, we left to go to church and we came back found it on the floor with broken ribs cause it jumped out of a 12 inch high fish tank that was on a table. It died. Moral of the story... Guinea pigs can fly.

Piggy power!! That was one of the most energetic actions I have ever seen a guinea pig do! We've had pigs for over 20 years now,we used to have a huge greenhouse on one corner of the house that the pigs occupied,come breeding season and the births that followed we used to be knee deep in pigs!! One female we had must have had over forty offspring in her lifetime at least,she lived the longest of all our piggies.We only have the one now though,they are fantastic little creatures.
