Even despite Vietnam's growing economy, that doesn't mean the totalitarian one-party regime that is ruling Hanoi will stay in power for long. Moving Vietnam towards a capitalistic economy without any political or social reforms could end up having our nation becoming a "crony capitalist" state just like Tunisia and Egypt. I hope that one day when there's an Egyptian-style revolution, this flag will be returned as Vietnam's only official flag.
