as a viewer, it got annoying and they seemed uneccessary, so it turned me off a little bit

I cannot believe it's over either!! I'm really excited it's Kataang though ... before I knew the ending I thought it was going to be Zutara with a different ending like Aang dying and being reborn in the Water tribe as Zuko and Katara's son/daughter or something, but I am very pleased with the outcome. I am a Kataang fan so I would like to see Katara be with Aang :) .... but I'm all for a great story, and I believe Katara and Zuko being together could create a great conclusion to a great saga.
