  • it is amazing how this style of silo always does the shuffle dance to land the roof in one piece.

  • bet everyone had good sex that night.

  • RIGHT WHERE WE WANTED IT TO GO

  • Nice job

  • They got lucky when the bottom jumped out, part of it could have landed the other way on top of them.

  • @shootrbshot Sadly there is no textbook for knocking down a silo. The main reason I posted the video was that it could be a tutorial for others thinking about doing this. I did learn that I took off too many rings from the bottom which allowed it to explode rather than fall. I was very lucky that it went where I wanted. I had a man in the tractor to "persuade" but i'm not sure it would have made a difference if it went wrong.

  • Nice looking Pin oak in the upper left corner. Thats the first one I've ever seen that doesn't have Iron Chlorosis.

  • Man you all know how to live Chevy truck Case IH tractor wat better than that!!!

  • that looked skechy, only one person at a time during a demo or tree cutting!

  • Who needs explosives when you have a sledgehammer!

  • Awesome! 11 minutes to knock it down, how long did it take to clean that mess up? Thor!

  • @mightythor156 It took about a month working with the excavating company. I had it all hauled away to a farm nearby to be used as driveway base. Then he hauled in topsoil later to finish the job.
