  • @Destiny2204 You can't try this 10 times, it'll ruin your Java JDK.

  • @SuperTygrys1 it okay already i have re-install the all the java :) thanks for the help anyway

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH! i spent ages trying to do this myself, and only now do i realise that i was trying to add it to "system variables" -.-'

thank you so much for the video, it really helped!

  • Command prompt NEVER works for me. Why can't they just give you an executable file to run?

    [/short rant]

  • didn't work....

  • i did it, and it worked, but i could never find lib. is this a problem?

  • Never found "lib" or w.e. in my enviormental tabs. Besides that i got everything else. How do i get "lib" or find it.

  • So to make a long story short...

    1) go to your directory where Java jdk is installed (1.6.0). Note: This is not jre, it's jdk.

    2) In windows xp, go to system / advanced tab / environment variables: and you'll see a list.

    3) click on class path. Choose edit. Notice all entries are separated by " ; " (semi-colon). Simply paste the path of the jdk folder at the end of this list, preceded by a semi-colon.

    4) Add it to "include" and "lib" and "path" in the same manner.

    5) push ok, exit and try it

  • @zerutuby THANK YOU. This video is torturously slow.

  • i dont have jdk 1.6.0 , all i have is jre6....

    please help? I subscribed

  • @ladycacanoob 2 words. First word: Get. Second word: jdk. See, Jre and Jdk are two completely different things, so JDK will not do anything to JRE. Plus, you need JDK to do a number of things, such as run a Minecraft Server (this also applies to CraftBukkit), etc.

  • dosnt work

  • thanks bro good help

  • First of all, thank you

Second of all, your video recording software sucks donkey testicals.

  • @Theethruth make sure you download the jdk, java development kit. you might only have jre on your computer, which is only the java runtime environment. javac, the java compiler is part of the jdk

  • someone plaz help me its not working

  • i dont have include on environmental variable?

  • i dont have java1.6.0 is java1.6.0_23 the same?

  • is jre the same as jdk

  • @bananastreet123 Totally different...jre is java runtime environment...jdk is java developement kits

  • @bananastreet123 Jre is an impemenatation of jdk. jdk is a compiler which converts the text file into bytecodes whish is a machine independent code.

  • was getting so excited - then i realised

i only have TMP and TEMP at the top

You have loads of stuff at the top
