I'm not sure about exact figures, but there have always been people in and outside Australia who have wanted to change the flag. Ray Martin spoke out about demanding a change a few months back but was shot down and labelled 'unAustralian' by a large percentage of the counrty. Because this issue has died down a bit since, and since we still have our flag, there has assumingly been substantial support for keeping it the way it is.
The current flag is about as UNAUSTRALIAN as you can get. It has the flag of a foreign country in the top left corner for fucks sake. We need our own flag.

So they brought some great food, big deal I think that ANZACS sacrifice is a bit more important and more part of our cultural fabric. I can't believe what I'm reading, I question whether you are Australian at all. Haven't you had any family members take part in any wars or know anyone. People who gave their lives are more important than foreign food.

I'm not sure about exact figures, but there have always been people in and outside Australia who have wanted to change the flag. Ray Martin spoke out about demanding a change a few months back but was shot down and labelled 'unAustralian' by a large percentage of the counrty. Because this issue has died down a bit since, and since we still have our flag, there has assumingly been substantial support for keeping it the way it is.

Probably because the financial powers in control don't want it re-enforced to the people that most of us don't want a change. But since the immigration agenda here is "the more different the better", then I'd say that the division is growing.
