i installed adw, and when you pressed the home key it gave you the option for adwlauncher or launcher, and on the bottom of those, it says to make this my default action. i accidentally pressed it, and now i can't undo that default setting. ho do i go back to the adw launcher so that my homescreen can be in landscape mode? please, somebody help!!!!!

@MR22KR u either go to your settings and uninstall or if u want to keep it you go to settings>application settings>manage applications>(click the app) scroll down then find clear defaults (click) then hit the home button and u have the option to go back to the regular launcher:) hope that helped

Could anyone please explain to me why this launcher needs the ability to directly call numbers without my intervention (check permissions). Loved the UI, but as long as idk whether or not to trust the app, I'm uninstalling it.

Just downloaded ADW Donut on my old Tattoo and my first impression is that it's great. However, the app has access to several key features - does anyone know for sure it can't call random numbers without me knowing? (Quite a few trojans call random numbers without the user knowing).

@morgostas ok there are two ways... first is two uninstall ADW launcher and reinstall it which then will remove all your icons and set everything to the way ti was when you first installed it. goods news is that there is an easier way. just touch an open spot on your desktop and hold your finger there until a screen pops up then click launcher actions and Open/Close and just put there where the old was and its the same thing.. hope i helped..

In the Market, search for ADW APP. It took me a while to find it through the ADW Themes. Then I tried searching for ADW APP and bingo. There it was. I like ADW a lot. Much better than the standard launcher. Have found no bugs and it's fast.

I like Launcher Pro cause it's speedy, particularly the App Drawer. But I prefer ADW Launcher more cause it allows me to set more columns and rows on the homescreen. I'm basically stuck with 5x4 at most on Launcher Pro. Also, ADW Launcher allows me to have a translucent background for the App Drawer.

this launcher is horrible. if you use the dock bar you spend around 10 minutes trying to get the freaking launch buttons back finding the precise point to 'flick' if you miss you're probably going to open the status bar on the top of the screen.

This app has one more trick up its sleeve. If you pinch and zoom on the home screen, it puts all your home screens in pre-view mode ( like froyo ).
