  • Collab Cover someday? I think yes.

  • nunca empezaste a cantar fijate.....

  • That is fucking BEAST , man.

  • lol jesus you do sound like chris

  • BUUUUUUUUU.

    pow manolo nada a ve.

    até eu canto melhor.

  • Goddam; great stuff! You screamed this with the same technique you use for your Lamb of God covers right?

Btw, what's your mic setup? Such a crisp sound @__@"

  • @Aerros11 For Corey's part, pretty much, it's just about holding your mouth differently. Chris' part was different though, that takes more power, and it's more gutteral, like a death metal style.

And I use a CAD u37 usb mic with a pop filter now-a-days, not sure if I used it for this one, but I think I did. The quality came out pretty clear on this one. It was really fun too :D

  • "And....... Suck my dick and enjoy" I laughed to much

  • pls all peoples push the LIKE button pls

  • man where u live lets do a band,i have members i need vocals lets rule this world

  • in my opinion this would sound better unlayered, ecspecially when you are singing chris's part, since when he performs it it seems much more fine tuned, and doesn't sound layered. at least then it would seem more authentic, and you performed with the actual song. other then that not bad and blah blah blah

  • perfect.

  • U SOUND LIKE THE SHIT!!!!!!!

but the song is one of my favorites of slipknot so

    UP THE MAGGOTS!!!

  • Amazing

  • duuuuuuuuuuuuude.

  • @MagneticClown Fuckin' magnets, how do they work?

  • Not bad....

    Look this one ----> youtube.com/watch?v=C7lO-jBZQnQ

  • Hmmmm this was actually VERY good... I give you tons of respect, BUT i heard Corey over you a lot.

  • @PerverseRapture Just a tip (Not making any kinds of trouble or anything.) i would have gotten the instrumental version of this song, so that if there was any mistakes in the singing or process of transferring the audio (Not saying that actually happens, im just guessing. i have no idea how to make a vid.) people wouldn't notice as much. But i really like this video, and i recomend it to so many of my friends that are maggots.

  • Wow. I really like this cover. I have been looking for a cover of Nameless forever. and all the others were complete shit. Your my newest hero. (:

  • Thanks, man. I really appreciate that :D

This may very well be the cover I'm the most proud of. I had to try it three times to get it as it is, but once I did, I was very much pleased with the results.

  • Fucking awesome. You nail Chris Fehns screams.

    You, me. Dual cover.

  • Are U doing all the vocal???? U are so fucking (SIC). Best vocal cover on Utube dude keep going :).

  • so good

  • Nice;As it happens, the subliminal verses is my favourite CD they've put out, most original.I'm looking forward to there "new" take on this style in the next CD.

Experimentation is a great thing to see, especially from a death vocalist.

  • I hate Volume 3. We were at work one day, and somebody put in that album. Listening to the whole thing front-to-back for the first time, I realized that the songs off the album aren't bad. It's just that the whole fucking album is WAY over-produced. This is supposed to be metal, why the hell would he add effects to the vocals on EVERY song on the album? I don't get it.

    Decent songs, weak-ass vocals.

  • @PerverseRapture

His vocals were strongest on Iowa and All Hope Is Gone but I like the experimentation they did with vol 3.AHIG has some good songs on but I don't see why they had to bring in WAY too much Stone Sour into it.Gematria,This Cold Black and All Hope Is Gone is the way they should keep it.

However I like Gehenna, because the SlipKnoT style is still there.

  • Slipknot was at it's most experimental album was All Hope is Gone, but my main beef with Vol. 3 isn't the music, it's just the vocals and some of the lyrics. Volume 3 was when they heaped the Stone Sour sound onto a Slipknot record.

You probably started listening to them AFTER volume 3 was released, but I bought the Iowa album the week it came out. Vol 3 for me (and alot more) was slightly disappointing

  • @PerverseRapture

I started liking them just before Vol 3 was released,so Vol 3 was my era.Alot of people hated it,but I found it alright.

  • @MEDzZ3RO The reason alot of people hate it is because it was really their sell-out album. While it wasn't necessarily a bad album (except the vocal effects), it was a HUGE change in their musical style, going from songs like Disasterpiece and Skin Ticket to Circle and Vermilion. While changing their sound to meet a more radio-friendly audience was the smartest move for them financially, it cost them quite a few fans.

  • @PerverseRapture

Yeah,I know alot of their stuff was more radio friendly but I really don't think that is why they did it.Especially seeing as SlipKnoT always sold better then Stone Sour.Taylor mentioned he did it partially because a reviewer claimed they could only perform the IOWA-esque style and were limited to that. Also,I reckon the change was also because Nu-metal wasn't the craze it was in 1990s and early 200s by the time they started on Vol.3.

  • @PerverseRapture

Rubin is probably a major factor in why Vol.3 was edited alot,he does it on most albums he puts out.

Being mainstream or not has never bothered me in any multimedia industry.Products can be good regardless of background.

  • @PerverseRapture, Mate feed kill repeat is their most experimental album, death metal add funk add disco, it was hilatious yet awsome.

  • @MEDzZ3RO the vocals on all hope is gone were the weakest. the only reason they sounded strong was because of the effects. his strongest vocals were selftitled and iowa.

  • @TheNameIsPascal

I disagree, even live his vocals are good.IOWA and AHIG he was/is on top of his game for growling/shouting.On selftitled he still had a "young mans" voice.Every one to their own and all.

  • Actually, I've heard two or three of the new Stone Sour songs, and Corey's pretty much on the top of his game. He's got some pretty powerful vocal performances on what I've heard of the new album. Everyone knows I'm on and off with Taylor, but I've always enjoyed Stone Sour's stuff, and their new album might be their strongest material yet.

  • @PerverseRapture

Yeah I know,no doubt due to him cutting down on the fags and booze, lol.I'm looking forward to it.I've heard that after Paul Grays death,Slipknot are planning on a 5th album.Don't know if you see that as a good or bad thing but I'm pretty glad they are. After all they introduced me to the "harder" metal.

  • Grand Cover Nate , grand . Gone along way from your first debute mate , even makeing me look into shitknot again

  • you are a beast dude !!!!!!!!!

  • Hahaha.. thanks, man!! If you like it, send it to some people, help me get some views here!

  • fricken SWEEETT!!!! haha very sexy lol

  • lol.. oh, yesshhh. That's exactly what I was shooting for, how did you know? Hahaha :P

  • Fuck Nate! that is fuckin BOSS! !!!!!

Dude you've come a long way since the Slipknot war, and I'm real proud to know you man :-) themeangenie

  • Hahahaha.. thanks, man. I'm gettin' better and better :D

  • dude, this' freakin' kick ass. lol. You definitely did Corey proud. I've been a Stone Sour fan longer then a Slipknot fan and I had no idea that there were, well sorta two different vocalists on this track. Chris I'm assuming doing backing, either way this was very impressive. Take care bud.

  • lol.. Yeah, Chris Fehn is the lower growls that you hear in the background. It was really cool to be able to do both, on the same song. Glad you like it though, I think this is probably the best cover I've ever done :D

  • Whats up man! yea man! this is my favorite cover of you!!

    Cool!!

  • Nice!! Keep it up!
