  • do you have a localized version of Come Home to the Best? from WVTM?

  • do you have a local Come Home To the Best for WDAF-TV(as an former NBC affilate) in Kansas City Missouri and KVOA in Tucson, Arizona?

  • do you have the localized version of Come Home to the Best? from WSFA?

  • Sorry these are the only local versions I have, if anybody has more please post and let me know!

  • Ha ha ha!!!!!!!! "It's 1988! Look, we finally got a football team!"

  • @greatbison

only took them 20 years to make to the super bowl

  • ahh KARE 11 in my home state great and there still going in HD no less it cool to see what they was like in the 80s so thanks for that.

  • KARE was quite syndie rerun centric. You never see network stations like that anymore.

  • Do you have the video of the WMAR version?

  • Thanks for sharing this with us all. It so fun to look back at people. I just can't figure out why I can always remember these types of jingles but then ask me to remember chemistry and I can't remember a thing. Jingles are fun.

  • Do you have video of the WDIV version?

  • Just type in "WDIV 1988" and you'll get a :05 ID, as well as a News 4 intro.

The full promo itself... I'm not sure.

  • Great memories! I was only 5 when this promo was aired, but I was a huge news junkie at that age (seriously, I was hooked!) Nice to see Steve Pascente, Ed Phillips, Bill Austin, Ron Hoon, Kent Dana and C. "Pep" Cooney at a PHOENIX Cardinals game.

  • Awesome than that custom version for KARE (also a Gannett-owned NBC station).

Where other KPNX personalities are out in the community, and the anchors are tailgating otuside Cardinals stadium.

  • Here in Argentina, former Channel 11 (Now TELEFE) used to have the same KARE logo in 1988

  • I'm glad you uploaded a better-quality version of KPNX's campaign! Thanks. :-)
