It was a little confusing for me. I think you wanted to know more about the Quabala, whatever that is. I don't know anything about the Quabala.

Qabala (QBL - Qoph, Beth, Lamed) is Jewish Mysticism. The literal translation is "to receive" (from mouth to ear) which was the Oral Tradition. It was kind of like religious information that was passed down from generation to generation by the priests, but was not written down (at first).

Using the Qabala for mystical experiences is another facet. Lon Milo Duquette (noted scholar on the Qabala and magic in general) described the way it works as studying immensely complex relationships between everything and everything else until you go crazy in a socially acceptable way :-) I don't particularly agree with that appraisal, but it's possible.

According to some the thinking that we are separate from God WAS the 'Original Sin' and my current 'knowing' is that when We look there We will find Us.

I agree...the original meaning of sin as use in the scriptures...was "missing the mark" missing the point..which is your God. God and you are one, as Jesus put it in John 10:34. To say that your God is to say you are of the same substance...divine.

Open-mindedness is a somewhat simple concept but sometimes not that easy for some, but I think has rewards that are not at first obvious. At least that's how I've experienced it - so far, and to the degree I have been able to apply it to.

qiiwed, I've put a link to Wikipedia about the Qabalah I was talking about (Hermetic Qabalah). I didn't realize that the spelling with Q, K, or C is supposed to indicate the 3 different forms of Qabalah. Some are sub-groups of the others. See Wikipedia for more.

Yes, I am speaking of the original QBL however it is currently spelled. That is why I tried to explain where the term Qabala comes from. I don't know much about the 'common one that madonna belongs to', but I'll check it out later when I get some time.

Zeitgeist on your front page. I have the movie on dvd. Its interesting but there are a few flaws thru out the whole movie but i think the over all message of critical thinking & peace,love unity as a race is good

And I think Zeitgeist deserves the same application of that idea "critical thinking" to the movie itself. I find the 3 divisions of the movie appealing. I honestly haven't seen part 2 all the way through. The last time I checked there was an Interactive Transcript of Part 1 at the Zeitgeist website (weblinks to support their claims).

Another "Oops". Towards the end of this video I refer to "original Sin" as not being related to "eating from the Tree of Life". I meant to say "Tree of the Knowledge". But this mistake allows you to see in your own Bible where the Tree of Life is mentioned.
