@crimsonkurls She has a very small frame, so she naturally will be smaller than most people when she is thin. She also does not have many curves, which will make a woman look larger and "healthier". If she was not healthy, she would not have such good muscle tone. Malnourished bodies have little or no muscle because the body eats away at the muscle tissue along with the fat. Any thinner and she would not look good...but this is a good size for her (on the low side).

@crimsonkurls bmi is a bit crazy, i am at my top range for bmi, any heavier and i will be overweight, but my body fat percentage is well below average, i take a small dress size yet my waist size says i'm obese, so i no longer trust these meaurements, i go by how physically active someone is.

My wife and I are both in a good shape but we eat fruit, nuts, rice, beans, grains, lots of fish, eggs, cheese, some rice and even chocolate and ice cream over the weekend.
and forgot to add ... tons of all kinds of veg - spinach, rucola, tomatoes, celery, olives, capers, broccoli, sprouts, bit too much garlic and onions and all sorts of spices. We love our food and we eat a lot ... but we're also at the gym 6 days a week, besides a generally active life.

To turn your life around you need determination, support from those close to oneself, and discipline to always pick yourself up when you fall and push on. It's not easy to keep up gym 6 days a week, but if one's mind is on it, it becomes part of life that is not questioned. If you want to get in shape go for it. Takes time, but pays off.

You how to get a bloke thinking of joining a gym :-) I swim a lot at the moment, lovely southern Cali sunshine & outdoor heated pools. Once me and the misses move from this district I will have to join a gym to get access to a decent pool. I need to hit the weights again. I did 5 push ups the other day and me eyeball popped out! And I'm sure I have a subdural hematoma. Well, not really, I just like saying that :-)

@Devilen73 To get in good shape there is no miracle cure. There is no conspiracy, no secret, no miraculous regime. It's lifestyle. To turn your life around you need determination, support from those close to oneself, and discipline to always pick yourself up when you fall and push on. It's not easy to keep up gym 6 days a week, but if one's mind is on it, it becomes part of life that is not questioned. If you want to get in shape go for it. Takes time, but pays off.

I can see the dogma about "mono fruit island". Where is the science to back this up? I am currently on esselstyn diet and doing well, and have been slowly moving to mostly raw and the rest is brown rice and beans. Do you have a factual version of this presentation?

@dong2phat4u as long as it takes for fruit to look good again. We NEVER wait for 'true hunger' rather, we go by appetite and what high calorie fruit interests us.

@dragonflyy5 99% of the dates Freelee eats are dried organic californian dates. We blend em up with water to make datorade.

Oh by the way, I did a half ironman two weeks ago and ate nothing but dates, bananas and pineapple juice. I felt fantastic on the run.

@xswzaqqq had a can of juice before the swim, a can before the bike and a can before the run. one banana about 45 minutes before start, at three on the bike. Had two water bottles full of water with a touch of OJ in each. On the run I had 12 dates in plastic wrap in my hand, ate one per mile.

I find myself gravitating toward Grapefruit, Lime, (2.5 oz Spinach) and Grapes. This is my favorite. The above seems to digest quickly and leave me ready for hard training. B4 a race I drop the Spinach to make it even easier to digest. Is this less than ideal? I feel great! Would mono be better?

Not kidding I was thinking about doing a mono apple island for the past week. So glad this video came along. The only negative thing Freelee said about apples were not enough calories. Ive been struggling to get the 811 lifestyle down and apples might be the only fruit I can currently eat 3k+ calories a day AND enjoy it. I already eat ~10 a day. Are there any other negatives about eating this quantity of apples you can think of? I will post full results start to finish on 30BaD if apples are ok.

throw bananas in a blender with another fruit. its what i do daily. last night i has strawberry banana smoothie. later in the night i had a pineapple banana smoothie. i lost 9 lbs in 3 days. anyone can do it. its fun. keep it up tho. dont stop the fight. if you fall off the wagon for one meal jump right back on.
and harley you saved my life man. rode 80 miles fixed gear the other day. fun indeed
