  • Wonderful points! Even though an episode with Matt Smith is what piqued my interest and convinced me to check this series out (having never seen the original) after plowing through all six seasons, in the end, I ended up preferring the Ninth and Tenth Doctors. Matt Smith really is brilliant, and man, does he bring that character to life - but from an emotional standpoint, I just connected with RTD's version of the Doctor more (Ten, in particular). So for me, it was all about the writing...

  • Hmmm. I must say, you have some wonderfully valid points. Smith does a wonderful job of catching the distant, alien nature of the Doctor. And I love that. But Tennant and Davison are my Doctors, really. Maybe it's just a matter of projecting myself onto the Doctor, but I simply feel more in common with them. It's the "brainy specs" and the celery stick and all that goes along with it. And I really liked that Tennant wasn't the Santa Claus. Ageless, time traveling aliens have feelings too!

  • :( I don't have time to watch this right now, but I would love to watch after my midterms are over! I actually don't know who you are but Kayley (owlssayhoot) liked your video and I saw it was about Doctor Who so I couldn't help but click. You seem awesome! Okay, that's all, I'll be back.
