this movie is long on story and short on visual effects. This would have worked if Jolene Blalock and Casper Van Dien had some supporting cast. The director's view of taking the comical and making it seem serious was a little over done. The owner's of this title would be better off to make a 3-D version of it for the big screen. Or bring it back to TV at a decent time.

Starship Troopers 2 was unwatchable. And this looks about the same, no matter if they got Johnny Rico back.

i just saw this film, and have to say im kinda confused, some aspects of the movie were good and the action was cool, but wtf...they had some really dumb parts in this movie id give it a 6.9/10 and thats becuz i love the 1st ST, better than the 2nd one for sure, but like Rico said in his interview this is a b movie and a great one at that, im still going to purchase this one

Starship Troopers 2: $7,000,000

To tell the truth, It looks way better than the second one, but I am not really looking forward in watching this. It just doesn't work any more, can't compare to the first film. After all, with a 105 million in the budget, you have a lot to work with it. Just hope it's entertaining.
