I see gold Jason and I saw gold 3 years go when i saw him skate in chicago open, I knew you could give this performce that i never seen any other skater keep up with that engerizie and grace as you , true are the best skater i ever seen in my life :) Best of luck
Plushenko? This kid's musicality, edge quality, flow and spinning runs circles around Plushenko. If Plushensko had 1/2 the artistic ability of Jason Brown, I maybe would have been able to stomach his skating. When he eventually incorporates a triple axel in his programs, he will be challenging for the top spot in U.S. Figure Skating, and if or when he gets a quad he will be hard to beat. I actually cried when he was done, and I wasn't alone in that arena. We had just witnessed something special.
A rip off of Plushenko? I hardly think so! Plushy could only DREAM about spinning like Jason... Beautiful edging, skating deep on the edges and deep in the knees - I love this kind of skating - you rarely get to see this type any more. His landings are so smooth and stretched out. Great stuff
I see v little resemblance to Plushenko here at all if you really want to see a Plushenko rip of look at Artur Gachinksi's SP at the 2011 Euros in Bern, Switzerland... all jerky movements and air kissing the crowd during his SP
I dont think there is any comparison to Plushenko! Jason seems smoothier on elements and skating, as well as jumping abilities different and landings! He is surely talanted and artistic which is appriciated! Working on jumps has to be his first goal for the next season!
WOW!! GREAT technique, his jumps are rock solid, his spins are fast and centered and he has real artistry and feeling for the music. Honestly, I think he was under-marked a bit. Great one to watch! Thank you for uploading!

@muscleboi4use He's a rip-off of Plushenko and that's no compliment, which means he has no artistic talent and his spins are FAR from centered - what the hell are you watching. The spins are traveling all over the place. Half of his jumps have offy landings too, but at least he lands the jumps better than Plushenko which is HIGHlarious.
@soul416 What are you watching? Have you actually seen him skate live? I have, and he captures the audience well, his jumps are smooth and like butter, and his spins are centered actually. He's nothing like Plushenko. I wouldn't compare him to any other skater because we are all different. His landings are actually choreographed well, which gets him points. Plushenko is a great skater in all, but there's nothing to compare with anyone.
Definitely my favorite among currently competing U.S. men. Can't believe NBC didn't show his FS! He's got the whole package, shades of Michelle Kwan. Wait until he gets a 3A, then watch out!
I was there! This truly was the highlight of the men's free skate in my opinion. I think the crowd cheered for him more than they did for Ryan Bradley. He'll be a champion when he gets older, for sure. (And yes, I squealed like a fangirl when I saw him after the show)
This guy is the future of US Men's figure skating. We were lucky enough to be there to see this performance live and he electrified the crowd! He was also gracious enough to sign autographs and pose for pix after the competition. Way to go Jason! Can't wait to see you next year!
ive seen a lot of skaters >>this guy is something special!

He's great!
His basics looks as good as Kozuka's and interpretation wise, he's better than Chan.
All he needs is some quads and he'll def. be the top US man.
And he looks like Kimmie Meissner- sorry Kimmie ;)
