I want Ninten, now hear me out! Instead of being an exact copy of Ness with only a few minor changes, I would imagine him being thinner, a little shorter, having smaller eyes with eyebrows, and a slightly bigger mouth. His side special would be PK Flash. Instead of it being like a giant bomb, he would point his index, and a bright light would appear, and it would have the same effect as the deku nut. If he were to do it again, it would hurt the other person with a bit of knock-back.
@jopejaful (Continuing) Every once in a great while, the flash would kill you instantaneously, like it normally would. Other than that, most of his attacks would be melee, due to the fact he has no offensive PSI. I just included PK Flash to give some power.
@jopejaful I liked your idea too but I also suggest making him faster than lucas but not as strong as ness. And also give him a bat to reflect projectiles too.
id like to see lucas' final smash be where u have to hit a button along with the music to get extra damage, kinda like for DK, for a max of 16 times, then pk love to finish it off
If any new Mother characters would be added to the next SSB, it would be Jeff, since he's already an assist character. Hopefully Claus will be added in too.
As for Paula and Kumatora, I would be all for it if Ness and Lucas didn't take all of their abilities. They would end up being just clones.

What Nintendo needs to do for SSB4 is keep Ness and Lucas, as well as New Pork City, but add at least 1 or more Mother and Mother 3 characters, like Jeff and Claus for example, as well as have at least 1 more Mother-based stage. Maybe the front yard of Lucas' house perhaps?

@theturtlers ridley is fricken beast. They don't have any villain rep in metroid. I'm sorry but they've got to put him in. I don't think mother brain would fit. Krystal has so many differences from the rest of the cast and shes a female character. Female characters have never ended up clones. Megaman and knuckles are still 3rd party characters. Nintendo most likely wont give them a chance and capcom has been terrible to other devs.

There are a lot of capcom characters but capcom has been denying the right to use the there characters in smash for a while. Megaman has been on a lot of nintendo consoles and bomberman has been around for a while too.

The only credit the Mother series get is from ONE game released back in 95 and smash bro series and Captain falcon series is more popular than mother. SBB4 is adding a lot of new characters. As i've said before Ness is the Only Known representive of the mother series. What we get is Crappy stickers, 8 Trophy's and a assist trophy for brawl, they removed the Fourside stage and Onett and NPC are the one of the shittiest stages ever made. They wont release Mother 3 because the GBA is dead. They should work on a Mother 1 remake release first.
Nintendo is trying to push aside the Mother series only because of Lawsuits and copyrights. Which is very sad.

And A point to make for Mother 3: As a 3DS ambassador, Recently, GBA games joined the Line Up. Which means, It's possible some Japan Only games will make their way over to America, Like the Virtual Console did with the Wii. He learned that in mother 3, not freeze, fire, or thunder. Then again, if he didnt have those attacks, what else would they use for him as a character. Maybe PK Love Alpha, Beta, and Omega. But anyway back on topic, I just honestly think Lucas should have been treated better, and not like a crybaby. That's just the way i look at things.
Anyway- Lucas had a few PK attacks that did damage. (Love,Flash) but other than that He really had nothing else. Hell, The only reason they gave him Fire,Freeze and thunder was to stop him from being to linear. (And to say, Ness also got fire and thunder. Which was learned by Paula/Poo. Not Ness)
The Final Smash could have been way better. Like maybe Lucas pulling a needle? or PK love omega?
@ConnorTheCuteRilou Oh and by the way, the ONLY enemy in the game that the new years eve bomb works on is the porky statue. It will never be a dud when you use one on the statue, but always will be a dud on every single other enemy.
I really like Kumatara, but I think Duster would be a more interesting choice, since Kumatara would be another semi-Ness clone like Lucas (same moves, different style).
Duster would be a nice non-psychic to throw into the Mother crew instead.

Special-> Slingshot: hold button to charge it up for more power and shoots multiple ammo with low knockback with good stun
Side special->Boomerang: Similar to link's but better control and lower knockback
Up special-> Rope: A tether recovery but with long range and small damage
Down special->Psi magnet: Like Ness' and Lucas' but can only hold out for a limited time but can recover much more health.
Final smash: Ocarina: Plays ocarina as eight melodies play as music notes attacks

I remember when brawl came out and me and my friends where watching the opening and when Lucas came on the screen I scremed "HOLY CRAP! LUCAS!!! 8D" My friends where like "O-O;". Then I killed them all with him. I do want Kumatora and Paula to be newcomers. Ninten, Ana, Duster, and the maked man are the overs. I just REALLY want Kumatora and Paula.

@theturtlers ridley is fricken beast. They don't have any villain rep in metroid. I'm sorry but they've got to put him in. I don't think mother brain would fit. Krystal has so many differences from the rest of the cast and shes a female character. Female characters have never ended up clones. Megaman and knuckles are still 3rd party characters. Nintendo most likely wont give them a chance and capcom has been terrible to other devs.

@SlamTheLabel I highly doubt there would be enough capcom characters especially since most of the nintendo heros are silent. besides we DO need more female characters back then in N64 there were only two girls (Jigglypuff? or Pikachu?)

@toontown2001 there were no girls till melee. Jigglypuff is a guy. Common misconception. There are a lot of capcom characters but capcom has been denying the right to use the there characters in smash for a while. Megaman has been on a lot of nintendo consoles and bomberman has been around for a while too.

@toontown2001 lets look at all the possibilities together; birdo daisy (alt costume) krystal, lyn, the earthbound chicks, that chick from chrono trigger (the one you save) midna or fi, medusa from kid icarus (they would have to shrink her so maybe the green haired chick would better suited for it) There are alot of options i just think nintendo wants proper representation and they think that there arent enough main female leads for there rep. Regardless there are choices.

Paula, Poo, and Kumatora wouldn't work for SSB4 as Ness and Lucas stole all their moves :P
Claus would be good, mixing up sword-based attacks with electricity.
Jeff would work too (he's already an assist trophy) using his various gadgets.

Ness has been here since the beginning, Lucas deserves a couple of friends in SSB4 and with all the Mother 1 references around. Not all moves have to have history towards the game. @toontown2001 Well, To be fair, They DID trim out a TON of Characters from Melee. And, Kirby was in Smash Brothers since the Begining, and only now got two New Characters. And, Not to mention, Captain Falcon. They'll have, maybe, one stage for him, And That's it. Two, With Melee's "At least Two Stages for Every Character series."
In other words, Cut them some Slack. Work on a Mother 3 Release in America First.

The only credit the Mother series get is from ONE game released back in 95 and smash bro series and Captain falcon series is more popular than mother. SBB4 is adding a lot of new characters. Besides Ness has been here since the beginning too and only he only gets one character that isnt even from the same game as him.
Earthbound deserves some more love since Itoi isnt going to be making another Mother game and SSb is only left

As i've said before Ness is the Only Known representive of the mother series. What we get is Crappy stickers, 8 Trophy's and a assist trophy for brawl, they removed the Fourside stage and Onett and NPC are the one of the shittiest stages ever made. They wont release Mother 3 because the GBA is dead. They should work on a Mother 1 remake release first.
Nintendo is trying to push aside the Mother series only because of Lawsuits and copyrights. Which is very sad.

@ColeVX Onett was OK in Brawl but in melee it was terrible but fourside was alot more entertaining in my opinion. I was just upset at the time I liked Both stages but in terms of fighting they were bad.

And A point to make for Mother 3: As a 3DS ambassador, Recently, GBA games joined the Line Up. Which means, It's possible some Japan Only games will make their way over to America, Like the Virtual Console did with the Wii. Sure, It's going to be more Expensive than finding a Fan Translated ROM, But for an Official Release... It could happen!

Cause really, in Brawl, they show him running away from the porky statue like a little bitch, when in Mother 3, he didnt run away from a single battle. Come on nintendo, get real here.

@super7100011 To come to Brawl!Lucas's Defense. The statue was damn near invincible. And It was Also damn near invincible in Mother 3. With only the new year's Bomb(Which also to state. had a chance of being a dud) And PK flash remotely doing anything against him.

@ConnorTheCuteRilou Ok, even though that is true that the Porky statue was practically invincible, what the hell happened to Lucas' PK Flash? He learned that in mother 3, not freeze, fire, or thunder. Then again, if he didnt have those attacks, what else would they use for him as a character. Maybe PK Love Alpha, Beta, and Omega. But anyway back on topic, I just honestly think Lucas should have been treated better, and not like a crybaby. That's just the way i look at things.

Anyway- Lucas had a few PK attacks that did damage. (Love,Flash) but other than that He really had nothing else. Hell, The only reason they gave him Fire,Freeze and thunder was to stop him from being to linear. (And to say, Ness also got fire and thunder. Which was learned by Paula/Poo. Not Ness)
The Final Smash could have been way better. Like maybe Lucas pulling a needle? or PK love omega?

@ConnorTheCuteRilou Oh and by the way, the ONLY enemy in the game that the new years eve bomb works on is the porky statue. It will never be a dud when you use one on the statue, but always will be a dud on every single other enemy.

The N.Y.E Bomb is a dud on all but the king statue. and even on the king statue it's a 50/50 chance.
Though I havent played Mother 3 in a few years so This could be totally wrong.

I really like Kumatara, but I think Duster would be a more interesting choice, since Kumatara would be another semi-Ness clone like Lucas (same moves, different style).
Duster would be a nice non-psychic to throw into the Mother crew instead.

Paula, Kumatora, Ninten, Ana, Duster, Jeff, and Fassad for SSB4 amirite? We already have enough Mario characters and at least make more Earthbound series trophys and not that animal crossing crap. They also need more Mother battle songs I mean if snowman made it to brawl at least add Pokey means business or Battle against a dangerous foe.

Besides the Smash series needs more Mother and more female characters...Also make more stages like Mt itoi or bring back fourside.And add Wess as an Assist trophy to do the wess dance. @TheLingaling Well its most known as pokey means business, cease to exist is theme of the second Giygas battle. They either add that or Battle against a machine.
They need to add SOMETHING earthbound like, Smash bros made Ness and Lucas look dumb, They added a ton of Mother 1 songs even though Ninten isnt even in the game, They removed nearly all the trophys from earthbound, Lucas is portrayed horribly in Brawl, Ness runs like a retard, and they make Ness look boring in the series.
