I am all for sustainability but this entire war against fur use annoys me. I will never stop wearing fur, it has a feel which can not be mimic with synthetics. Also I live in Canada, it gets cold here and a good synthetic jacket is expensive. However for one dollar I can put a bullet into a dear, have food for the winter and a nice warm fur coat:) Saves me a lot of money, a cow, and toxic chemicals being produced by synthetic factories. What's wrong with wearing fur anyhow ? Isn't it a human tradition going back to when our ancestors first started losing their body hair ? All this fuss about fur is based on Jainism, which is a form of spiritual materialist philosophy which encourages people to feed mosquitoes with their bodies. The eco system is an arms race and no-one takes a breath without killing millions of living things.

It was natural to use animal fur for clothing but now the animals are endangered because there are so many humans that it's a detriment to their species to be getting their fur. Unnatural things such as excessive deforestation and pollution don't help to reduce extinction of animals either. Because of these factors introduced by technology, and the advent of other materials with which to make clothing, it makes sense to should use those materials instead of unnecessarily killing animal for fur.
