There are probably things Obama could do to help the economy more, like raise taxes, but people don't like that (it's obviously not a pleasant thing). Republicans pretend he never existed and then suggest doing the same things he did.

@WarDamnEagle25 No I just respect myself enough to not let other people get away with calling me stupid for no reason. And don't talk to me about taking rights away. I live in Wisconsin so I have to deal with that tyrant governor ignoring what the people want and doing things his own way. Other than that, I don't feel like the US gov't is taking away my rights at all. But I really don't want to get into a political debate because I'm sure I'll just get insulted again and it won't change my mind.

When our nation's economy was plummeting and we got involved in a war we shouldn't have? Yeah, that was definitely somehow Democrats' fault. Why don't you actually learn about something before you listen to your parents or Fox News (or worse, Glenn Beck)? I never said I was an expert on politics, but at least I'm taking the time to take different perspectives into consideration.

It'll take more than Obama's term and whoever is elected next to sort everything out, but people will continue to blame everyone but Bush. Obama has made Democrats mad by trying to appease Republicans who will do anything to go against him. And in case you aren't following WI politics, Republicans passed a bill illegally. How is that not dirty?

@xsbadger17 i wasnt expecting obama to fix every little problem in our country. but instead of trying to fix SOME of them, he screwed us up even more so now theres more to fix and its gonna take longer. and people blame Bush all the time?! where have you been? obama is hated by most republicans and MANY democrats! and its because of all the crap he's done and lied about not because he appeasing republicans! there are many corrupt politicians in both parties. they all lie to get what they want.

@WarDamnEagle25 You just have to realize that it's going to take a long time. There are probably things Obama could do to help the economy more, like raise taxes, but people don't like that (it's obviously not a pleasant thing). I don't think he lied about anything; we just haven't seen the results yet because there's so much to fix. But he might have been a bit too idealistic. And no, only Democrats blame Bush. Republicans pretend he never existed and then suggest doing the same things he did.

@xsbadger17 everyone knows its going to take a while. the problem is, Obama is making things worse by trying to pass bills that will put our country in even MORE debt which is a domino effect that perpetuates the lower and middle classes being unemployed and barely being able to get by. and Obama has lied so many times he's giving Bill Clinton a run for his money. oh and plenty of republicans dont support Bush. my mom is very conservative and she doesnt support him.

@WarDamnEagle25 There are actually a lot more jobs out there. People obviously think "a long time" is a few years. The earliest things will be back to normal is something like 2020. And he's not the only one making decisions. The Reps are trying to shut down the gov't and their response when told it would cause tons of job losses: "So it goes". They're only about cutting benefits for the people who really need them.

@WarDamnEagle25 The gov't shutdown really did almost pass, and I'd say that many gov't jobs being lost is pretty threatening. A republican senator (I think a senator) really was told that that would happen and as I said before, he replied "so it goes". But whatevs, shall we just agree on something and stop since we both aren't going to change our minds? How about "Twilight sucks"?

@xsbadger17 also, i do know a lot about politics and issues that are relevant in our society. i form my opinions based on facts and my own interpretation of whats happening in our country. i dont base it off my parents or fox or whatever you might think. at least i have good morals behind my beliefs. democrats perpetuate the countries unemployment rate and basically, laziness. they promise things they cant deliver and trick lower class into thinking they actually care so they can get a vote.
