Arrancars are not vasto lordes. They are in fact weaker than them including the espada. In fact Aizen was looking for one to fight the head caption but could not find one so made wonderweiss instead. No one has seen a vasto lorde in bleach yet

AA (#9) was the only one of the Espada that was initially a Gillian, and several were Adjuchas. It's not entirely clear which ones were which, as very few Espada were ever presented in their pre-Arrancar forms (Grimmjow, Harribel (Anime), possibly Barragan), and AA was the only one explicitly stated, unless I'm forgetting somebody.

i don't think ulquiorra is a vasto lorde. i think he's something different entirely like a new class of hollow. ishida described his reiastu as being very dense. we also know that from the data book that he was born under the black sediment like things. i think he's some sort of condensed reiastu type hollow.

@funnychaos1 not all of them. The only known Vasto lord is Halibel, but it's pretty likely stark is a Vasto lord too. All the others were adjuchas before they became arrancars. (Except maybe barragan)
@EwingAmaterasu In the Unmasked Origin book, written by Tite Kubo, it shows Ulquiorra as a Hollow in a full mask, without a mouth. Possibly symbolizing that he was born a Vasto Lorde. Since Adjuchas and Gillian require mouths to feed lest the regress; it makes sense to draw an assumption that Ulquiorra was born a Vasto Lorde without a mouth; signifying that he has no fear or regression since he started out as a Vasto Lorde. Just some opinions I have read about on the internet and here mainly. :3

It's Demi-Hollow - Hollow- Gillian - Adjuchas - Vasto Lorde. Espada was never originally part of a Hollow's evolution until Azien steeped in. Adjucha and Vasto Lorde can be Arrancar or Espada
@animedudee you can't actually say that it rarely happens. We just rarely ever see, last time I checked the origin of every hollow isn't observed. There could have been millions of demi-hollows and we may have never know :p
If Bleach was real life, there would probably millions. But since it's an anime, everything is already set up. Remember, the demi-hollow was created because of Don Konoji.
@Zexion98 wrong, espada are naturally occuring, as grimjaw adjchars had their masks eaten by grimjaw (to prevent them from regressing while they followed grimjaw), and nel and noitora were espada before aizen came along
demi-hollows are not natural, and u rank hollows under gillian, but gillian are holow, as are adjuchars and vastolordes

There's no Espada between Adjuchas and Vasto Lorde. Because Espada is a rank for Arrancars. Vasto Lorde is the highest rank for hollows. But I understand why u wrote that because the information was unclear in 2008.
@animedudee Vasto lorde is not a rank, it's an evolutional state. And just because they turn into an arrancar doesn't mean they change state. For example, Aaroniero says he's the only Gillian among the Espada.
Well, u get what i meant. Vasto Lorde is the strongest level a hollow can be. If a Hollow(weakest form) were to turn into an arracar and fight a Vasto Lorde, the arrancar would win.

Starrk's past was revealed in episode 183 and when his soul is split, you can clearly see him being human-sized; also, hollows die around him.
As for the other Espada, Aaroniero was comfirmed to be the only Gillian. Grimmjow's resurrection looks ALOT like his Adjuchas form cause the body shape of the resurrection is more beast than human. If he did turn into a vasto lorde, his form would change altogether and his resurrection would be more human shaped. And Nnoitra is an Adjuchas because he used to be weaker than Neliel, which im sure is Adjucha because of the animal body. Since Nnoitra and Grimmjow is Adjuchas, then the others are too

@MDLuffy2012 No. You said that ONLY vasto lorde can take on human form but that's incorrect. Vasto Lorde are the only one who have 100% CHANCE of getting a human form. Adjuchas can have human forms but less likely to get it. Gillians are even more unlikely to get a human form. Most of the Gillians, Adjuchas and normal hollows get imperfect or monstrous human body shapes.
@RandomVideos1425 gillians can not get human form ever, becauese they are stupid, cannot control their reiatsu, similar to ichigo's dad explaining to king fisher about captains have swords the size or skyscrapers, should they not control their reiatsu

and espada. But espada have also a second ressurection as we see at the battle of ichigo vs ulqiora. so arrancars are after vasto lorde (i think)

It's Demi-Hollow - Hollow- Gillian - Adjuchas - Vasto Lorde. Espada was never originally part of a Hollow's evolution until Azien steeped in. Adjucha and Vasto Lorde can be Arrancar or Espada

demi-hollows are not natural, and u rank hollows under gillian, but gillian are holow, as are adjuchars and vastolordes

There's no Espada between Adjuchas and Vasto Lorde. Because Espada is a rank for Arrancars. Vasto Lorde is the highest rank for hollows. But I understand why u wrote that because the information was unclear in 2008.

@animedudee Vasto lorde is not a rank, it's an evolutional state. And just because they turn into an arrancar doesn't mean they change state. For example, Aaroniero says he's the only Gillian among the Espada.

Aizen wouldn't recruit a weak adjuchas to join his precious Espada, because it would be pointless, remember what he did to Halibel when he realized that she's useless. And by the way after that, Aizen said " WITH ALL THE TROUBLE I WENT TO GATHER YOU I NEVER REALIZED THAT I WOULD STILL BE MORE POWERFUL".He's not referring to just an Adjuchas

Aizen wouldn't be that stupid to recruit adjuchas level arancar for his Espada. And just to remind you, the FRACCION of the espada are adjuchas. It doesn't make sense if they are being led by another adjuchas too.

As for the other Espada, Aaroniero was comfirmed to be the only Gillian. Grimmjow's resurrection looks ALOT like his Adjuchas form cause the body shape of the resurrection is more beast than human. If he did turn into a vasto lorde, his form would change altogether and his resurrection would be more human shaped. And Nnoitra is an Adjuchas because he used to be weaker than Neliel, which im sure is Adjucha because of the animal body. Since Nnoitra and Grimmjow is Adjuchas, then the others are too

Ok ppl i want to explain 2 u all that all the espadas are vasto lorde eith the exception of aroniro arururu or whathever his mame is . Remember that only vasto lorde can take on human form (grimmjow,uluquiora,nel,yammy, etc) Also nel didnt win against noitora because if u dont remember her mask is broken and her powers are unstable she was wining the figth till she went back to baby mode (sorry for the bad english) ^^

@MDLuffy2012 No. You said that ONLY vasto lorde can take on human form but that's incorrect. Vasto Lorde are the only one who have 100% CHANCE of getting a human form. Adjuchas can have human forms but less likely to get it. Gillians are even more unlikely to get a human form. Most of the Gillians, Adjuchas and normal hollows get imperfect or monstrous human body shapes.
