It plays an old game... Okay... It's still not a gaming laptop. Take note, a low grade graphics card, and a low clocked dual core processor. Besides this, it has conventional means of cooling. So supposing you tweaked the hardware to run like a performance laptop, it would be too hot to sustain such. A gaming laptop can play all games on medium settings or higher. Good luck playing Crysis, on this laptop. A new good game comes out next week... "Sorry my 'gaming' laptop, can't handle it?"

There is a difference between gaming, playing stuff like World of Warcraft, and extreme gaming playing stuff like Crysis. No this laptop can't run games like crysis, but it can however play games like Cod4 and most normal games. So yes you can't use it for extreme gaming, but you can still game on it.

well no duh...its not made for a gaming pc...its only 2.1 ghz, and dual core...it only has a 5400rpm hard drive...and it only has 256 mb of dedicated graphics memory....this thing isnt made for gaming, its built to be an amazing working laptop (ie. taking notes in class, or using microsoft office...or even web browsing...) and from all the reviews ive read on tigerdirec's website, it has accomplished that excellently...

However, when attempting to install certain games, It was unable to detect a disk in the drive.

I replaced it and the same happened.
