yes it is standard tuning. Muting comes with practice. just be sure to use your palm when muting and different guitars sound differently when muting also.

Good job! Hey, on the "D" capoed chord in the chorus, try a Cadd9 chord, the bass does the work on going to the "D". The un-capoed chord is actually "E/F#" which looks like: 2- X- 2 -1 -0 -0, kinda jazzy sounding. God Bless!
