I believe that more internationally funded wildlife preserves, such as the Amazon and some Tibetan forests, need to be protected. On the other hand, we cannot restrict businesses with strict greenhouse emission caps. I would offer tax incentives for businesses to go green on their own, not be mandated by the government.

For those disagree about the causes of global warming, issues such as ending our dependence on foreign oil and reducing air and water pollution that is making our children sick is more than enough cause to go green. The CIA has a term called "blow back" which is described as public outrage a great time AFTER a military operation is orchestrated. And it is explained as a poorly informed public suddenly realizes its been lied to and demand a change in policy.
This is the case with Iraq and was the primary force behind the Republican's defeat in 2006.

What would it take to open the debates and mandate instant run-off elections? Without debate participation, 3rd parties are toast. Without instant run-off elections voters fear 2 party spoilage. It was hard to watch. No respect. He needs a lot more than a vote. Obama is calling on voters to take an active part in government, so he would be a lot more receptive than McCain to citizen activism.

I believe that more internationally funded wildlife preserves, such as the Amazon and some Tibetan forests, need to be protected. On the other hand, we cannot restrict businesses with strict greenhouse emission caps. I would offer tax incentives for businesses to go green on their own, not be mandated by the government.

No it wasn't. The invasion of Afghanistan was supported by popular support, Iraq was not. And even if it were, the public was poorly informed. The CIA has a term called "blow back" which is described as public outrage a great time AFTER a military operation is orchestrated. And it is explained as a poorly informed public suddenly realizes its been lied to and demand a change in policy.
This is the case with Iraq and was the primary force behind the Republican's defeat in 2006.

Yeah I heard you. !st -- on the bailout, some measure was necessary, and while the top economists were half-hearted about the initial plan, after we took up the British approach several days later, they were much more enthusiastic. From the start Obama was calling for regulations and payback for the tax-payers, just like old Ralph was calling for...On the race-baiting, why didn't Nader-the-Hater just use the same non-race-specific language he used for criticizing other leaders? Stupid.

initially, the context of what he says appear specific to race, but you know nader is and was never PC. Given that, he always told it like it was. It was fact that Obama was in bed with big corps. His voting records show this. Some people would associate this to being "fucked" or being big corps "bitch", some would associate it with being big corps' "slave". Either way, he got his point across and spin doctors are dying. They've been waiting for this so called slip up for over a decade. enjoy.

I'm voting Ralph Nader as well because Obama is a foreigner & lair, & McCain may have too many of Bush's faults not meaning too. We can't straighten up the country until we clean up the country. Too many people not enough food because we keep having to make roads & housing. Jobs are gone to Mexico & other foreign countries. So why are these people still coming here? Make tougher laws for them,charge for citizenship, no more having children to become citizens, 5 yrs in service then ctizenship

Ralph Nader's such a fuckin liar. He pretends to be anti corporate, but in 76 his staff received only $5000 a year. Not to mention he busted a union using the same tactics as big corporations. Why does he pretend to be anti-corporate? So he doesn't spend a lot of money on his campaign. Instead, he plays the stock market with the money his non profits amass. That's not what we need in a leader.

The question to ask is "what would be the best way to bring about the kinds of changes Nader wants?" I saw him on Conan O'brien's show, taking a lot of abuse from Triumph the insult dog. It was hard to watch. No respect. He needs a lot more than a vote. Obama is calling on voters to take an active part in government, so he would be a lot more receptive than McCain to citizen activism.

Santee802: The 6 month withdrawal plan will work for several reasons. One-the average middle eastern citizen wants us OUT. Who can blame them? Bush is a busy man these days, blasting hell out of Syria based on mysterious "intel" reports. Two-Nader's parents came here from war-torn Lebanon to raise their kids in a democratic country. Nader(who also speaks Arabic) has already spoken to people on both sides who want to re-establish the 1967 borders and talk peace.Google "Nader peace talks".
