I never thought much of this guy until this movie. He is brilliant. The Dudley Moore bedazzled is really good, too. Some say even better. I dunno, this is pretty funny.

From my experience, women don't want a man who is an asshole, but want a man who has a spine. In other words, a man who isn't going to let the woman be dominant. He doesn't have to be a complete asshole and a prick. Those types of women have serious self confidence and insecurity issues.

I really enjoyed this film even if it not my favorite Brendan Fraser film. (I have quite a few. Loved Gods and Monsters, Monkeybone and even Dudley Do-Right more to name a few.) I think this could have done even better at the box office if the makeup people hadn't gotten quite as carried away... his acting is good enough to transform the characters without having to disguise him quite as much.
