As you continue to vlog, have a small light source pointed at you near the front of your camera. This will help your videos look better. What I like to use is a low wattage light attached to a clip that I can just clip to the camera itself. And also try vloging in a room with light colored walls. This will help the light reflect and soften the light in your vids. Happy vloging.
lapband sounds great I was going to have MGB as that cuts the Vegus nerve which in turn reduces grellin which stops hunger coz I am always hungry. seen your later videos well done girlie you look fabulous.
I've watched almost all your videos and They have helped me I was thinking about getting the lap band but was scared but after hearing and seeing you I will make an appointment to talk to a Dr. I wish you all the best and congrats and good luck
Hey Ashley. Great videos! I had my lap band surgery 2 years ago when I was 19. I've now at my goal weight. What a fabulous idea to blog the whole process!! I work for NWWLS now and loving it. I'm so glad you are happy with your band and congratulations for all the work you've done :)
Saw your update. I hope all is going well. Drink those protien shakes, yummy huh? Just take care of yourself and I look forward to seeing your progress as time goes on. By the way in your other video, for someone who just had surgury you looked great! I do hope the rest of your journey goes as well and I'm sure it will. Take care.
Good Luck and congratulations on your decision to have a lap band you wont regret it. I had a band put in on the first of May and the weight is literaly falling off me 110kg down to 97kg in 2 1/2 months and dropping. All the best for your surgery
I had lapband 12/05. I went from a 20 to a 6. Sounds great right? Post surgury my disordered eating "evovled" into an eating disorder. I may have lost the weight but I am by no means a success story. I do believe that surgury saves and improves lives. I hope that you've given it a lot of thougt,as I'm sure you have. I wish you the best.
What was your disordered eating and how did the lap band make it worse? I hope I don't get more OCD about eating with this thing, I got it so I could worry less and feel less guilty about eating.
That was my disordered eating, guilt. I now know I had compulsive binge eating disorder, never knew there was such a thing. The band stopped what I couldn't on my own. I developed bulimia and anorexia. I'm now in recovery but I know I wasn't a good canadite for surgury and I wasn't honest with the Dr.'s. I hope your weight loss journey goes well. That's exactly what it is a journey, I suppose I'm still on mine. Take care.
I am so glad to see someone posting about weight loss at your age. How I would have loved to have had the opportunity when I was younger. Even though everything that has happened in my life has lead to this moment, I cannot imagine what "might" have happened if I'd had a chance to live this life as a thin person (as I do now). Congrats to you and I'll be watching your progress!!
I got the LapBand on May 30th of this year...and it was the best decision of my LIFE. You don't even know. You will grow to LOVE your band! I have lost 27 lbs already since the week before surgery. So that's almost 30 lbs in almost a month! =D Just remember...it works if you allow it to work! Just follow your doctors rules...and no cheating! [it's kind of hard to cheat when you're already full anyway! haha]
