I think, Siouxsie And The Banshees is one of a few bands which I love EVERY tune from. Usually I like some songs from a group/singer, but if it's Siouxsie, I love several albums. It's unusual and I must be in love <3
i actually fell in love with this album in every sense of the phrase "in love." it was/is probably THE most amazing album. her voice, the songs, the order of the songs on the album.... it still moves me. she actually got better in each successive album she made. while robert smith is great, she didn't need him here.
Again the guitars on this song have a slight metal approach, (not sound mind you, but how one plays the instrument) which reminds me of early DDuran, synth heavy pop songs against Andy Taylors raspy rock style.
This album got me into SantB, its too bad she hates it because of the technology used to make it. Int retrospect, it has aged very well, I think.
Goldrapp's Uh La La La always reminds me of this track - I just adore this album, it's got that glamorous vodka-sparkling 90s sound to it. I really do hope it gets remastered as it kind of needs it - Superstition is amongst my very favourite albums of all time and Kiss Them For Me never dies, it's completely everlasting and there's never a day I'm not thirsty for its voodoo.
Ironically, this album is Siouxsie's least favorite (she has said that in many interviews). This was the album in which I discovered SS and it is my fav by far!!
Well just my observant opinion here but most artists true to their art resist and sometimes abhor commercialization of their art. This album was the most commercially promoted album they ever had. Honestly I agree with you, I absolutely LOVE this collection.

"and now we roam like ghostly buffalo", this is a kind of a psychedelic track by them with lots of sonic ornamentation and ace guitar playing..

For some reason when this album came out I wasn't a very big fan of it, but the more time that passes the more I realize how beautiful it is.

@roboticfaerie. Me, too! My college roommate listened to it and I despised. 20 year on, it sounds pretty good.

All people sing about is getting love and losing love. Not only is this a great song, it's poetic and about a fresh subject matter.

This is a great siouxsie album...sooo many great songs. It does seem to be overlooked a bit, but it's one of their best in my opinion.
