The type of grip dosen't matter as long as you can play the lick or groove, If you can play with gloves on or fingers coming out your azz, does it matter?

One of the greatest drummers ever played traditional, His name was Buddy rich, I suggest you youtube some videos on him and you will see why traditional can be superior.

i bought some iPod click tracks off of eBay instead of a metronome and practiced this. i'm like 100x better now that i did it to a metronome.

when you play the swiss army triplet on a higher tempo. it is totaly unclean, sounds horrible..sry to say it

Can you do a circle thing with the swiss army triplet?.. starting on the right and speed it up to an double stroke roll..and then switch to an left swis army triplet and slow it down.. ??

What he mentions of muscle memory is very true. I had to sit and stress learning my triplets for a few hours, but since then they are really easy to count
