can u make a can koozi with the same method.. u may need it to be 6 or 8 sided but that can be a future video idea.. THEEENNN u can send me the koozi for giving u the idea
How did you learn to make all the stuff you make? It amazing I want to make some what kind of string or cord do I need? Thank you got sharing your videos I love this stuff
@fluffybananacake and @dirkbikeman its not his problem anybody could understand it and how does he sound funny and the ads arent stupid and uh look at how many people bought on amazon and such. look at # of reviews. at least that many people bought it. WRONG! a baby could understand it
Thank you for your video. JD I was hoping some time in the future you would start describing about where on the length of rope you start your not. not a big deal but for the larger projects it might help me use less rope. Thank you for all your videos, the reversible wristband is my favorite so far.
As I have said before, you're a wonder! Very creative, very artistic, and very easy to follow! You don't get in a hurry and every video is very easily understood! Your backgrounds are always just right, so that what you're doing is exceptionally easy to see! Your work is always in the middle of the screen! Very professional! My question; What is YOUR favorite project to tie?
I have to say that this is really cool, but I think I would have found it a lot less confusing if you didn't flip the pouch over between every step. After the first two or so sets of locking loops, I just individually looked at what the previous loop was and matched that rather than trying to remember.which way the pouch was supposed to be facing (of course I'm watching youtube vids as I watch this so it doesn't have my FULL attention.) As always thanks loads for sharing your talent and skill.
It took a couple of tries, but I was able to make a couple of these. I used them for neck sheaths for my multitools and box cutting utility knife I use ever day at work.
Great project and video! It was actually simpler then I thought!
For those of you that are looking for paracord, most citys (even small ones) have an outdoors store that should carry it. I know first hand that there are only 2 in the portland area and only 1 in flagstaff az. The best way to see if you have a store is to google paracord in (city and state) good luck with your knots and hope I have helped some of you :)
this is so cool. i showed one of your videos to my niece and now we're trying to figure out where to get some rope or whatnot. any suggestions? she 12 so it doesnt need to be the most expensive stuff, but right now all she has is the string you make friendship bracelets with and plastic cord you braid with. help! i wanna get her started.
@SixBubbles - You could pick her up some paracord from your local hardware or army surplus store, or get her the 450 paracord I use from VTArmyNavy(dot)com
Thank you, JD! Once again you have created an incredible video and an awesome project. The pouch is an excellent project and your video makes it look easy.
Awesome work, great job, look forward to your next creation. I voted for the pouch, but still look forward to the "Wrapture" video.
@Ziva4Freedom Grab some cord, run the vid and follow along.. its a great hobby and an excellent stress release. Then, join the forum and share a pic of your work or ask questions where you are stuck. Join the FaceBook page and join in the fun there too. But truly, the fun is in the doing when it comes to exploring knots.
i'm new to paracord knots, bracelets, etc. and i wanted to know the difference between 550 cord and 450 cord? do i just take out some strands from inside the cord or is it a totally separate cord?
how would you add a flap for a cover? like to keep the knife from falling out

can u make a cell phone carrying pouch using this technique?
GreyWolfEyes1222 5 months ago in playlist More videos from TyingItAllTogether
@GreyWolfEyes1222 - Depends on the size of you cell phone. This tie could work, if tied loose or tight enough to fit.
TyingItAllTogether 5 months ago
Is there a way to make the pouch wider and deeper? For deeper I assume you could just lengthen the loops, but how about wider?
Raven1024 6 months ago
@ tying it all together
can i adjust the loops at the start to make it bigger?

does it have to be 450, i have 550
terryeddyterry 8 months ago
@terryeddyterry - You can also use 550 Paracord. In all truth, you could use any thin gauge cord you wanted to.
TyingItAllTogether 8 months ago
@TyingItAllTogether thank you. : ), since all your videos say 450, and they sent me the wrong order from online so yeah, : )

@SixBubbles Search Paracord on Amazon. They have a lot of colors for as little as $6.95 per 100ft. Hope this helps.
