  • how do u pronounce fuchs?

  • @grahamm13 fewks

  • @grahamm13 fuks

  • @grahamm13 "fuchs" :-)

  • @grahamm13 One of my few non-snarky remarks here. It is "foo*chs" the CHS is like a hiss/hack with the back of your tongue choking the air. (It means Fox in German)

  • lol the only reason i clicked on this video is to play snake. click the video and hold the left arrow

  • @ruffles272 so I guess you don't know what song it is either, smartass.

  • @ruffles272 stick to trying to play "eruption"

  • what song is this

  • @rmerc79

    The Kinks - Sunny afternoon

  • awesome playing...

  • That's my '57 strat he's playing and that's me watching him. After this he set up the tremolo for me. Besides being one of the nicest people I know he's an expert guitar tech, especially with Strats. Carl is the best! Fuchs amps have the most amazing tone.

  • any man who spends that much time on 'Sunny Afternoon" is a hero of mine...

  • hes got some nice jazz lines

  • Carl is one of the best players in the world period. I had to go on with my band right after Carl at the LA Amp show that year... which, believe me wasn't an easy thing to do! Especially after Steve Trovato joined Carl onstage for some serious country! I'll forever be in awe of Carl's brilliance!

  • i was lucky enough to have taken a few lessons from Carl. I was a runner at a studio in LA and was like 20 yrs old and Carl would be doin sessions there all the time. I got a little friendly with him and then just point blank asked him if he could give me some lessons His response was..."sure". That alone speaks volumes about this man Carl is the most underrated player along with Doug Aldrich.

  • A testament not only to Carl's amazing playing, but also to the awesomeness of Fuchs amps

  • AWESOME!!!!

  • amazing.

i've seen this guy play, he's great.

  • Wow. Im feeling totally incompetent now.

  • *sings* "Lazing on a sunny afternoon."

  • what song is that?? the kinks if i'm not mistaken?

  • That's from Practice, dedication, Practice, more Practice, oh and Practice.

  • nice hybrid picking, just like tommy emmanuel does on acoustic guitar

  • I wish I knew how to play this. :(

  • Yes, sir !

  • Look Luke, I need you the most during the harvest, after that you can transmit your application to the academy next semister.....

  • Anyone got any tabs to that Kinks song he's playing?

Or, can anyone hook me up?

    That'd be great.

  • @TEHBR00TZ use your ears and eyes, you'll become a much better player if you learn songs on your own.

  • Ya amazing playing from Carl, amazing amps, but that reverb pedal is freakin sick!

  • Wow this amp sound so sick! And Carl kills

  • Loved this version of Sunny Afternoon and ending with a nice teaser of ADAAOTN

  • Wow, that's a nice clucky sound! That Fuchs amp sounds amazing

  • i think he is probably one of the top 5 guitarists in the world...this is but a small sample of the what the guy can play

  • @jasaggio Im not sure, I think he is a master but definitely not top 5 what about Bireli Lagrene, Steve Vai, Scotty Anderson, Guthrie Govan, Andy Wood, Eric Johnson, Brent Mason, Tommy Emmanuel, Steve Morse and Joe Robinson?

  • "Lazin' On A Sunny Afternoon" by The Kinks

  • Yes, Lonnie - there's a studio version available on Carl's album "Solo Guitar Improvisations", amazing CD!

  • Great Song. Did he arrange that himself?

  • More than likely. Of course he throws in a lot of improvisations like usual.
