@doodlingdavid yes, it can be made with much, much less clay. We made our canes that big because we were filling a wholesale nail art order -- we needed 900 pieces from that cane.
@cityzenkane108 Well, yeah it's a big cane, but sometimes we had to make them that big, to cover wholesale orders. And in the long run, it saves both time and money to make the canes big. Less waste on the ends, and less labor cost.
My goodness, is it neccessary to start at such a massive amount of clay or can it be done with less?
