  • Your wallet wasnt stolen u left it there and that guy found it thats not called stealing

  • hahahaha, my best friends mom owns this store

  • Comment removed

  • Maybe he thought it was his wallet?

  • this is where i live o_O

  • About a third of the time I will keep the money and throw the wallet away. About a third of the time I will keep the money but drop the wallet in their mail box. A third of the time I will actually return the wallet money and all, it all just kind of depends on how I feel that day, I have returned hundreds of dollars, but not always.

  • i found a wallet in walmart and brought it too the store manager people are really shitty!!

  • @Ashstarrdanumba1 do you know what im referring to ash?

  • haha that guy looks like my cousin

  • I doubt its the one that said 'Bad Mother Fucker' on it.

  • :( WAllet :((((

  • some fucked up shit man, dam cleptos .

i wouldnt be mad if someone took the monye, as long as i et the id/lisence and shit back, cost so much extra and waste of time.

some people carry social sec. with them!!!!

  • So the guy walks in just ahead of you. You might have even seen what his car looks like since you both could have parked at the same time.

Also, I don't think he's a "common laborer." He's go what looks like a really expensive coat: stadium length leather (I think) and his shoes aren't work boots and his jeans look like they've been, what?, pressed or taken to the cleaners? Even my hands are more rugged and I'm an office worker.

  • I live in that town, too, but I don't recognize your light-fingered friend. I'll look for him, though. What package store was this?

And what the heck did the thief come in for? He had a list, he browsed, he asked for something, paid for it was handed something small (lottery ticket?) and left -- spinning away from the cashiers with your wallet.

Did he chat with the cashiers? They don't know him, but this would mean that he's a frequent opportunistic crook -- like a conman or a pickpocket.

  • You said it was one of the busiest lottery days of the year. I wonder if he was waiting for this chance, for someone to provide him with an easy target (sorry).

  • where i live in louisiana,if i forgot my wallet someone would have run out of the store with my wallet in their hand to give it back to me. thank god i left enfield in 77 and never went back! ive lived in the town of sibley for about 32 years now. population 850 honest people. God bless small towns.

  • hmm ,, u geting old ,,,4get thinksss

  • is that angys

  • seriously, it's your own fault. that wallet must not have meant too much to you.

  • No doubt, leaving my wallet on the counter at a package store was a bad idea... But under the same circumstances, if you were that guy, and you saw it, what would you have done?

  • in all honesty i would have taken your cash and left the stuff with all of your information.

  • there is a time and a place dickhead

  • What would I have done?? I would have said "hey dude you lleft your wallet!" What the FUCK is wrong with people? They are low class garbage!! I lost my wallet found out today that I had done the SAME thig you did at a Wal Mart the night before yesterday. I got the night manager to look at the footeage and sure enough the bitch cashier DID see it right in front of her and didn't say a word later she closed the lane and someone took it.

  • @squashuax Well I would have handed it in,. but that's because I am a decent human being, others might not be so "decent" Hope you find it.

  • @squashuax 2 years....oh well...i would have took all the cash and then mailed you the wallet! LoL j/k....i did this once...at my job...i went into the employee restroom to change from my work clothes....left my wallet...came back ten minutes later and well...yep...no cameras either...good luck finding that thief!!!

  • @squashuax I POSTED THAT ON FACEBOOK.

  • That sucks. I live in Enfield, I took a look, but I didn't recognize him. Now if that was TV like that show Las Vegas, they'd be like video IQ this guy and that would be the end of it.

And to the guy that called you an ass for leaving your wallet there. That is bullcrap, there's only one ass in that video and that's the thief. Maybe he'll try to use a credit card and get caught that way.

  • your the ass for forgeting your wallet!

  • I lived in Enfield all my life. I left in 1996and will never go back. Enfield "SUCKS"

  • Really? Then can you please call the Enfield Police department with their name?

You mean the guy taking the wallet, right? Where does he live?

  • love the mike doughty music, sorry bout ur wallet

  • I used to work in Enfield, and I still talk to alot of people there. I will send your link to my friends.

If you are so inclined, you should download any of the billion free programs to make screenshots from videos. You should take one of these screenshots, and run it through a program called Lucis Pro (which has a very functional demo available for free. Google it.)

If you're good with this stuff, lucis a whole bunch of face shots and layer them up in photoshop.

  • My Friend, I grew up in Enfield, CT, and now live & work in the NYC area (Graduated Fermi High in 1981). The last time I visited Enfield last summer, I had a sharp piece of metal rammed in my car tires for no reason whatsoever. The town is the crap hole of CT. Don't go back, and certainly don't leave your wallet out. Even the NYC area is safer than Enfield. It's my hometown, but it sucked in the 70's, and it looks like it sucks 100% more. My .02 worth!

    - Kyle

  • Hard to say, he looks like every other blue collar dude in his 40s and 50s from Enfield.

    Good luck.

  • How long before you realized your wallet was not in your back pocket?

  • I was 45 minutes away, in Simsbury, CT when I reached for my wallet, and found nothing... The feeling got worse when I started thinking about it, then found the change from the beer store in my front pocket. I kind of figured it out after that, and called the store, but obviously, the crook already had my wallet.

  • You should post the 4 other camera views. Get to see the perp's actions while this is happening.

  • That woman took forever to check out!! I would have had time to lose my wallet, keys, hat, and proof of citizenship. My lord! Was she re-mortgaging her home??

  • It was a big day for the lottery. I think she was trying to find enough change in her purse to buy one more chance to win.

  • Great idea to post this video.

  • ever get it back?

  • Not yet. The Police are investigating, and I'm trying to get a local TV station to show the video. I'm hoping somebody will recognize the creep. There were four other surveillance cameras rolling at the store. In the other views it is clear that the guy sees me put the wallet down, and then waits to steal it. Creep!

  • Damn, well enfields my home town, what store was this in? I'll keep a look out for that guy, I took a pretty good look at his face.

  • Angie's Stateline Liquors on Rt. 5, across from McDonald's.

  • Greg, ure sucha loser!!! lmaaoooo
