why do you guys judge like that? sure he was a good artist, but look at his point of vieuw. after 5 of these games i can understand youre ready to leave. and also, the new silent hill trailer als has som nice music. so the guy who's making the music know obivously also knows how to create it like mr akirio something does
Sad part about this game. It ain't taken srsly. It has a great theme, an incredibly plot, and seemingly endless, deep, backstory to it. It's poetic in a silenthill-esque manner that we all love. And the gross, eery, and grotesque representation of it, that's whut makes Silent Hill something to stand out from the crowd of horrorgame wannabees. In my opinion.
@NotreDameSentiento My problem with this game was that it was the movie in game form. And half of the things about it were taken from earlier Silent Hill games. The horror of it wasn't there, it was the same as any Resident Evil or American-esque horror games. It was only jump factor, I felt no psychological horror as I had in earlier games. But even then I could look past it if it was good. The beginning was scary and had an atmosphere, the rest of it was boring and bland.
yeah is not the best silent hill. (the best are 1 and 2) but is a good adition to the saga for me. and it was pretty scary like the doll boss. give me nightmares
@ZeroThomas5: I don't think there was a song called that, though if you are thinking about the song where Angela is on the stairs engulfed in fire that song is "Theme of Laura (Reprise)"
@alanvamp: I didn't think any of it was scary outside of the opening game when you are in Nightmare. Though the best in my opinion for emotional is Silent Hill 2, horror would be the original Silent Hill.

It was like they made a completely different game but slapped the name Silent Hill on there to get a lot of the long time fans to play it. My two main problems with it being, it was exactly like the movie and it brought Pyramid Head into the game.
Anyone who has played Silent Hill 2 knows that Pyramid Head was symbolic for James' feelings. Not something to be thrown around.
@zhoban PH had a reason for being there. PH is basically someone who comes to punish someone who is guilty, I know it all started with James. I played SH2... but He had a reason for coming to SH:H
He punished Alex's father who was guitly, his father was the reason that Josh died in the first place so PH had to come and get him.
@ronvins His father wasn't at fault for Josh dying. It was Alex's fault that he died. The reason they tried having Pyramid Head, Bogeyman, as a punisher in Silent Hill: Homecoming was because his father didn't sacrifice either of his sons for the town.
@zhoban The only reason that Josh died is because Adam gave Josh the family ring, which caused Josh to show it to Alex. They got into a fight and Josh accidently fell from the boat and died, if Adam didn't give Josh the ring than they probably wouldn't of fought in the first place.
@zhoban I don't think so, but this is just my own opinion on the matter. From everything I've seen and from what Adam said before he was killed by PH.
Adam said, "After that night, after I gave your brother this."
That to me is saying, the night I gave Josh the ring is the night that everything went downhill with Josh's death.
@ronvins This is just my own personal opinion as well. Same with me saying I wish they had gone either gone more mysterious or just blatantly said everything they were trying to put in the game. It was too open for being a Silent Hill game, meaning there wasn't that much mystery. They explain almost everything.

yeah is not the best silent hill. (the best are 1 and 2) but is a good adition to the saga for me. and it was pretty scary like the doll boss. give me nightmares
