I've actually got money on Nikeisha WIlson, the other uber talented Jamaican. I know the NCAA's were hectic, but she is a superstar in the making! Perhaps she'll upset her compatriot?
Tosta looks like she trained through Trials this year. Remember in 2004 she ran 52.9 at trials and couldn't get close to it by Athens? Judging by this race she'll peak in Beijing....so this really is a three horse race.
I thought the Chines gal would win, (she was 5th in Helsinki and Osaka) but she is out with Injury. As is Pechonkina, Rawlinson... Halkia has been crap all year and if she turns up in 53 shape I'll SCREAM, Tirlea is all but retired.
I was worried about the australian girl jana rawlinson and the american girl lashinda demus, but none of them will be there. i think we have a good chance in melaine and nickeisha wilson to get medals in this race. at the nd i loved how she kept her compusure are ran, notice how tiffany was shaking her head all over the place, the coaches will tell you to never do that no matter how tired you are, at the end is about composure and melaine kept hers, good work girl
Yes i told many people she would win gold in beijing, based on the form that she showed this season. Some doubted me, but there was no doubt in my mind. The race wasn't even close, it was clinical, and one of the most intelligent runs i've seen in a long time. She ran her own race, didn't outpace herself, didn't panic when Tosta went pass her, but kept her composure and took it home jamaican style
Walker should've been a walker
How awesome'd that be? Bein able to say "my name is Walker and I'm a walker"

Does Tiffany run like Buford-Bailey?

I would say more like Sandra Farmer Patrick - the swaying weave makes her look like her daughter or something!

Walker will be very hard to beat at the Olympics.
