i am looking for a great place to teach, but its so difficult. i'm qualified and getting tefl online, but there are so many places to choose from, and i don't know who's hiring and whats a scam and what's not.
Do you think it's best to go through an organization such as JET, or is it better to personally apply at the school? I was also wondering about tutoring privately.
@TheWhiteDreamsOfLife To be honest, i don't know. i prefer to speak about what I know. As far as China goes, check out "jiffmartin"....he's a blogger in Shanghai. Taiwan...."mordeth13"....a motorcycle based...english teaching vlogger
@BusanKevin I guess I'd like to know what you did to improve your times and distances. I've got good shoes and running clothes but would like some training advice. Thanks.
I still need to graduate high school but I've heard of people whose hogwons have closed down on them midway through their contract and have even been missed pays. I guess that will be a very small minority but that really scares me. But who knows, in 5 years' time everything could be different.
@Zanapplez that sort of thing happens. happened to me at one point, but you are right. Those are minority situations. Most of the time, things are fine.
