ALLERGIC TO HAIR DYE! and clip in extensions

i had the exact same reaction! what a horrible expeirence!! but it happened to me the very first time i colored my own hair. so i dont think it has anything to do with the amount of times you've colored.

I am horribly allergic to PPD as well. Luckily I am totally fine with bleaching my hair so I am always blonde. On a side note, you should try Manic Panic dyes they don't contain any PPD and I haven't had any problems with them. =)

@LetThemEatCakeXo i use to use manic panic all the time!i would bleach it and actually go to sleep with the manic panic in my hair.. i know... but i would do it bright pink or red and it made it last longer... i am tempted to do a patch test soon and see if i still have a reaction! :)

you know there is a site online for NON PPD'S in hair color..so do you color to hair now ? I had an reaction too and it scared me and took some benedryl, that was when i did it myself but have before from a salon and no reaction , i was thinking i'm a busy mom always doing something ,when it comes to me i have to rush ,when i did my hair that day ,i was sweated all over , and pores were open and i didn't was it out put rinse real well , and i was suppose to wash, no salon will put color in

Thanks for this. I'm allergic to ppd as well - and henna just washes out really quick. I've tried wigs, but they're such a hassle. Thanks for showing how to use these, maybe I'll give them a shot. :)

@ElissaSels its a Canon Powershot digital camera... i know, its pretty clear huh? i was shocked myself!
