  • I have been looking for this tune for ages , now I know what its called,, very haunting ,just like all the spaghetti , western tunes

  • Cheyenne, one of the best characters in spaghetti western ever.

  • A very nice song!

  • Ein sehr schönes Lied :3

  • reminds me of the dexter theme song

  • Ennio Morricone is a genius. I love his music. Wish he was still composing.

  • This isnt as good as the Eastwood/Leone westerns

  • @niloh96 Its still Leone though.

  • @niloh96 this is one of his best.

  • I love how all of this mans music alway kinda of tell the best of the west and the end of the west

  • Once Upon a Time in the West is the best western movie ever

  • This is such a great movie and soundtrack thanks for the upload!

  • Cheyenne is one of the most underrated characters in Film History!

  • @Arcangelo13

I only want to say that i have the same opinion :D

  • Great tune.

  • Many movies have sound clips from famous older movies, to enhance the emotional feeling of the scene. These days composers don't just get to create classical masterpieces like they used to.

  • Is it just me or does this song always play when you walk into a strange town, completely mysterious. Like Harmonica?

  • My father would clik: I Likes This

    :))))

But aside that I've enjoyed watching the film - and theme is one of the greatest, ever!

  • here is a stupid aside...

My kids have a wii game called "raving rabbids", which is a pretty insane, but clever, game that has lots o min gamesf music spiced up from the 60s and 70s.

One oddball minigame with a western theme caught my attention-- the background music is prety close to identical to "Farewell to Cheyenne". When I first head my kids playing it, I told them that the music came from of the best western movies of all time.

  • @testodude hehe That's what kids should be taught, especially nowadays... I just hope you ain't any Japanese video games advertiser!

  • @testodude Hans Zimmer is greatly inspired by Ennio Morricone. It's not a rip off, its an homage. He does the same in the Pirates of the Caribbean 3 soundtrack.

  • Great instrumental tune!!!

  • OMG! the first 10-15 minutes. Nearly nothin happens, but it is so well played! This movie has time. It's not that fast as other vids

  • @TheFreakyVamp it's difficult to understand tough. because when you watch it the first time the guys all look very simmilar

  • sometimes late at night i really miss Mr Choo Choo..just to play cards with him

  • just loving it

  • Is it just me, or did the new Sherlock Holmes movie completely rip off this tune?!

  • @GarlandFraser i think they did.

  • @GarlandFraser i guess you and me sir are the only ones who think so..go to sherlock holmes soundtrack and listen to bulate i think

  • @nohate4today you, me, and four other people it seems. We should all start a cult dedicated to this conspiracy!

  • @GarlandFraser

Totally....But then again, so did Kill Bill. Though Kill Bill was probably more of an homage than Sherlock Holmes!

  • @GarlandFraser

    i think so too

  • @GarlandFraser not quite - I think the credit went to the wrong film - without a doubt it was a Morricone piece but the credits stated it was from Two Mules for Sister Sara, however I am convinced it was from this one...

  • @GarlandFraser Hahaha, that's exactly what I was saying while watching this movie! wow lol, glad I'm not the only one who thought so, it's terribly obvious, but for good reason, listen to it! amazing.

  • can anybody loop this so i can use it as a theme for my whole life ?

  • Ennio Morricone is genius and the best componist of Movie soundtracks with Hans Zimmer !
