Your method made me think of Musique Concrete, or more specifically the BBC Radiophonic Workshop. I think it would be fun to record a sound on tape, then copy it dozens of times and cut and splice until you get something like this. But this is far less laborious and you don't have tape blowing around down the hallway to your studio. :)

Very cool. If you don't mind me asking, how did you approach tackling the entire piece? Did you plan out the entire piece in advance (either in your head or on "paper) or did you kind of start at the beginning and just play it by ear? Also, you mind posting how long it took to get it all together?

@troylamberte Definitely didn't plan it. I actually didn't even plan on making a whole song. I just heard the vibration sound and thought, "It'd be cool to make a little jingle out of this." I sat down, started cutting up, and just got carried away! It took me probably 3-5 hours to do this one afternoon. Glad you liked it!

@OCoptimusconvoy Yup it's just for mac. I'm not too sure about PC's because I mainly use a Mac. But I've heard good things about Fruity Loops.

I'm so glad I got it a while back and that the developers still feel like updating it ; ] (I need to help propagate their work by mentioning it more often too lol. That's what goodwill is for!) I am now looking at your recommendation of TotemHeadz too xD (Wondering how to get into its closed beta ^^;)

@131u357r34k Yeah the developers are awesome. Great guys. And just wait. There're more updates coming. The next one coming mid-June will be even better than the last. New weapon and more. And yes TotemHeadz will be coming soon. I did a few FX for it. I've been doing the beta for the past month or so and it's amazing all the improvements they've made throughout all the betas. It's gonna be a great game. Although I think it's probably too late to join the beta, unfortunately.
